What a horrific experience. Phone system not working. No way to access the airport shuttle so had to spend $30 each way on Uber. No air conditioning so the room was 80 degrees. Toilet not working so had to use the lobby toilet. No manager on duty & not responding to pages from staff. AC maintenance tech was extremely rude. $400 a night in Newark for European Hostel conditions that go for $70 a night. Literally, almost anywhere else would be better.

The air conditioner was not working. It was very hot in my room. They said they have been working on it all day. I used to stay here often when it was another hotel chain and I loved it this time. Air conditioning not working in most rooms. Travelled with children and from Canada. Couldn't sleep with the heat. Front office staff was rude and overwhelmed with complaints from multiple guests.some guests were offered other rooms with working ac that were used and uncleaned from previous guests.Others were sweating and given a refund and checked out. We were forced to leave around 1am to drive back to Canada as no òther hotels were able to accommodate us at that time.We were given a full refund and the last night manager empathized with us and seemed to care wilth a follow-up phone call. However after planning a milestone trip for my group this hotel just did not guarantee basic expectations. Very sad for so many people affected by this horrible service.

Terrible. The AC went out in the entire hotel and it was the hottest day of the summer. The front desk didn’t mentioned anything about the AC not working. Instead they offered me a room upgrade but that didn’t make anything better. Also, the hotel didn’t have enough parking space to accommodate the guests. It was just one thing after another.

One of the desk hosts was less than hospitable while another one was amazingly friendly and helpful. The phone in the room didn't work nor did the WIFI - the mean desk host set up the wifi on my ipad and it never worked. The bartender had his back to us 4 patrons for an inordinately long time, never acknowledging us (if he was busy with something - at least say something) it was obvious we were there from our conversation. On the up side, the room was well-appointed with really nice sheets and an awesome high-def TV. However for $200 , I would expect at least the WIFI and phone to work. And if not, at least some kind of compensation.

The only thing my stay waa Saturday until Sunday. They put a hold on my card for an extra $250 which is understandable but they still haven't released the hold. I only used the room to sleep 6hrs and i checked out.
