Have stayed at Hideaway before, nice and private. Not upmarket but very clean and tidy. Good value for the price. Desperately needs a new stove, it's about as old as me. Loved the grounds and the chookies and birdlife.

I liked the location and layout of the cottage. It was like being at home. It was spick and span with an oven and cooktop as well as a microwave. Bed very comfy and lots of hot water.

"Staff were very helpful and friendly. Room was a little stuffy. Hot water was sometimes difficult to get working. I was disappointed the weekly meet and greet advertised was not on because it was a quiet period. But thanks for the drinks voucher!"

"Rooms starting to show their age. No shelf space in the bathroom and very little space around the basin. Pillows too soft. Sofa beds do not make comfortable couches in a "deluxe suite" No toasters in the rooms and the excuse for this is not acceptable. Restaurant at the Governors is overrated. Breakfast ..."
