We thought the property was unique. Lots of interesting knick knacks to look at. Our room was very comfortable and had a nice ensuite. The hostess was friendly and accommodating. Easy to walk to Lock 18 and two restaurants. Really tasty breakfast!

Enjoyed our stay, the rooms were nice & clean, the skinny staircase was not appreciated (very small/tight quarters & not easy when carrying an overnight bag & with knee issues, I found them a bit daunting !! The Host was lovely & very welcoming in every aspect. The breakfast was good but not memorable; we felt that the fee of $201.00 was a bit steep! For type of accommodation & breakfast served.

As discussed with owner, the room was tiny. A ceiling fan was enough for air circulation, as the window unit A/C was impossible to figure out. Breakfast was very good.

Quaint house in the lovely community of Hastings, Ontario Canada. Elise was very knowledgeable of local restaurants and even carried our bags upstairs and down for us. If we're ever in the area again we'll stay here. Breakfast was yummy!

Elise was a wonderful host and the breakfast was delicious. We had a short stay of less than 12 hours as my son and I were just passing through. When it looked like he wasn't going to make it to breakfast, she offered to make him something for the road which was very sweet. My only small complaints were the wifi/tv situation wasn't great and I tried phoning the B&B from the road and got an answering machine that I get the feeling isn't checked very often (it didn't seem to go to the house itself). Everything else was great. We stayed in the Safari room and it was very spacious and has a big ensuite. There are not a lot of eating options nearby so if you are looking for a nice dinner en route, you will want to plan accordingly.
