Easy to access from motorway. Nice views and grounds from the room across moorland to the hills. Hotel was very clean and modern. The staff were friendly and helpful. Food was very good. Would be very happy to stay there again.

The location is great, we walked out from the hotel into the beautiful rolling countryside where there are abundant footpaths and lovely views. We ate in the restaurant that evening and the food was really excellent and the service friendly and good.

Wonderful views and the feeling of being in The Lakes. Good spaces for walking the dog. Rooms are spacious and dog friendly with the inevitable trace of dog hairs on the divan bed. I stayed at this place on my way to Buttermere. It allowed an early start on quiet roads and was cheaper than staying in any of the towns en route. I did not eat in the hotel but the nearby services have hot breakfast rolls and good coffe.

Great location warm and welcoming feel. Loved the farm shop. Hotel good standard. Just 2 niggles 10am departute far to early should be at least 11am . Sound proofing not very good room 19 i could hear snoaring etc. But certainly would not stop reutn vist. Ladt point in hpuse restaurant meals a bit expensive especially breakfast when a 5 min walk you can get a good breafzst for far lrss

Tebay Services Hotel Stay
This hotel is on the North bound M6 services. Once booked in you can’t really tell unless you take the time to go out the hotel grounds. The views around the hotel are what you’d expect, with the Lake District one side of the M6 and the Yorkshire Dale's the other. I’ve been at these services many times and have always said I’ll stay. The staff are very welcoming and friendly. The hotel is exceptionally clean, the decor is modern and there is much use of the local stone. It’s warm and cosy inside to the blowing cold outside. Sat in the restaurant the views of the Lake District are astonishing and what better than to look at at this while having dinner and a local brew. The food is excellent.
