I paid an extra $100 to upgrade to a room with a view over Jones Wharf. The room overlooked a construction site with Jones Wharf behind. Not worth an upgrade and they didn’t tell us this when we checked in. Very disappointing!!

Disappointed unfortunately photos of bath and views were not what was provided. Found they were added as part of the room to book but unfortunately if you dig deeper baths are shown on all rooms. We travel regularly all around the world. All 5 star accommodations and I had not come across such terrible check in system where you have to queue up like a bus stop even after online check in re which they send several texts etc. The arrogance of the staff when I complained was out of line. Remember you are in service industry. I put up with silly ‘ Bonjours’ of these hotel chains but NOT providing complimentary water at all is also extremely offensive. NEVER staying here again!

The hotel location is fabulous and is next to ICC and within walking distance to many attractions like Sea Life, Wild Life, Sydney Towle Eye, Queen Victoria Building, etc. Our room is west facing, we were lucky enough to watch the stunning sunset a couple of times in good weather. We will be back again next time. Highly recommended!!
