Beach is rocky and murky, not swimmable for anyone The bedrooms needed a few repairs, the latch to lock the main bedroom was broken, thankfully we walked with travel locks to secure the bedrooms. I would suggest better rates for the excursions, over $150 per person to visit a nicer beach is outrageous

Overrated and Overpriced.
If I could do over, I would have skipped this stop. The hotel itself is situated nicely and the staff was generally helpful. We had an all-inclusive pass and the meals were, for the most part, very poor quality. The steak place, for example, seems to only serve food raw or well done. Medium rare does not exist (and two steaks of the exact same type were delivered as well done and inedible raw). In our room, there is a big window outside the bathroom with a privacy screen, this was installed incorrectly so everyone could see directly into the restroom (but no one could see out). Over 3 days, it was never repaired, the service tech did not show up at the time agreed. If you stay here, I definitely do not recommend getting the all-inclusive. Take Ubers to Old Town for restaurants. Better yet, try Dreams next door. We spent a bit of time there and has a much more vacation vibe.

Property was nice. People were friendly. Didn’t care for any of the food at the restaurants so I opted not to get the all inclusive option. Pools close at 7pm. They are very clean though. The worst part is that o stayed on the six floor and there was this disgusting smell each day at certain times of the day in the hall and also on the room. Eventually I would become nose blind to it but it was heinous. Very relaxing g property though.

The property is older but well kept and maintained. The staff is very nice and accommodating. My room was a nice size, clean, and comfortable. However the A/C in the living room area made a loud banging noise every time it shut off and during the night. We didn’t report it however because I just didn’t want to move to another room or have maintenance in our room all day. Food was good. Entertainment sort of lacked. The beach is not it. You never know when the water was going to be there or not. Yes the water recedes big time off and on. You’re definitely far from the city in a secluded area. If you plan on leaving to enjoy outside of the resort, rent a car or make sure you get a taxi. Driving there yourself is crazy. It’s about 15 minutes from town… but it’s very nice. You have the beach on one side and the jungle across on the other side.

The a la carte options were delicious, very upscale type of food with great presentation. The staff members were friendly and polite. The pool area was big but despite the best efforts of the pool attendants kids were using the adults’ pool area. The rooms were clean but the hallways had a moldy smell. We loved the lived music and the drinks at the lobby bar. Overall, I would recommend this place and will probably go back.

Really nice place. Not 5 star but doesn't claim to be. Clean, friendly, casual atmosphere. We got the all-inclusive.

The place is beautiful! Rooms are comfortable and well decorated. However, i had a coffee maker with NO cups. When i asked for s cup n i was handed the flimsiest paper cup I’ve ever seen! Certainly not something i want to drink a hot cup of coffee out of!!! Also, we ordered pizza at the bar twice during our stay. The pizza was awesome! However, when two people order a pizza, i think it would be appropriate to have 2 plates served with napkins and possibly even utensils!! The first time we ordered we had to ask for plates…we got one and no utensils. The second time we got one plate and one fork!! Bar service at the pool was just as bad!! The only place we had good service was at Terra y Fugil. Excellent dinner and excellent service! I would go back for the beach and the bed but I would go in with much lower expectations!!
