The Manager/Owner? Was so obliging .You could walk every where in the Parkes CBD from the Astro Dish Motel.If I’m back in Parkes I would stay there again and there’s plenty of room to park unlike just about every other motel I’ve stayed at.

ASTRO DISH Motel was very nice accomodation. Very spacious room ( king bed suite) with self catering ammenities and luvly bathroom. Small things like plenty of bathroom bench space, arnotts bickies, and nice toilet paper added to the already very clean room. Bill the staff member was very helpful with some requests we had. Would recommend.

A nice modern motel with comfortable bed & good shower etc at a good price, a short walk from the main shopping/eating street, but it’s actually on the main traffic thoroughfare through Parkes, & also where that road turns, so the noise of heavy trucks braking & accelerating is quite obvious right through the night.

Excellent reception service. Very clean and comfortable in a central location. The room was spacious and well laid out We had the family room for the extra space and 2 rooms and worked really well. A little road and rail noise blocked with a towel under door.
