Holden5641251 I restaurant ordered medium Hamburger. Cooked well done. French fries not completely cooked. Had late dinner noticed the time. Told waiter I would take it to my room They were happy. Got to room, discovered no silverware. Called room service, no answer. Called front desk. No answer. Went down to front desk. Asked desk clerk if he spoke English. He said yes. Told him salade. Went back upstairs. 15 minutes later other clerk, maybe night manager came upstairs. I used word fork. He said he would have another one sent up. By now it’s1:00 am. Another 15 minutes go by. I take salad to front desk. Some were standing around. I told them I no longer worried about eating. The next morning a lady called didn’t identify her so as I remembered and asked me about it I explained it to her and she offered to return my money. I said that would be fine when I checked out there was a $20 cash waiting for me. I have stayed at several other five-star hotels close to the airport. I have never had such issues with any of them. I don’t believe this is a five star hotel; managers are not checking things. I will not return.

I stay at the Wyndham every time I travel to Quito. The staff are so professional and kind, the facility is comfortable and spotless, and the food is terrific. After a stressful travel day, my stay at the Wyndham was like entering an oasis. My husband was injured and required a wheelchair. The staff at the Wyndham went out of their way to help him. I highly recommend this hotel.

Great property, fantastic location, friendly staff. Sadly they didn’t get 5 stars as we booked a room for 3 people but only had towels/cups/tea/coffee enough for 2 people! Also no water in the property as we had to get it ourselves from the water fountain. I understand getting it ourselves but initially at least provide some in the room as after a very long flight, the last thing you want to do is go looking for water.
