Nice hotel. Overall, a good stay. Lovely staff. Nice room. A few minor things that I would change. Number one for women putting on make up without big mirror that’s closer to your face would be great. Pillows are terrible. Coffee was terrible, everywhere in the world. I can get espresso and cappuccinos apparently not in New Jersey. Wanted to watch the Olympics on NBC, you have 8000 channels and I could not find the Olympics nor could anyone at your front desk. That was disappointing. Breakfast was okay. I would definitely stay at the Madison again. However, I would love a few of these small fixes.

We upgraded our room for an extra cost of $100/day. Room was huge. That was really nice. But the set up was the oddest. A “bar” area with a small sink, but nothing else. The refrigerator was in the bedroom. 1 small wastebasket for the huge room. Not a lot made sense in the room. Too far from anything, especially after 9pm. I will be in that area again, a few more times, but I think I’ll stay more in Morristown. The Madison Hotel is beautiful for a wedding, but feels as though it’s time to become modern.

My husband and I loved this hotel. The staff was friendly, the modern-with-antique vibe was charming, and everything was very clean. The food at the restaurant was very good. Although the occasional train passing by was noticeable, I’m glad I read a review about it beforehand, as it didn't catch me off guard. The only downside was the breakfast: while it was good, there were limited options, and the small space made it difficult to find seating when the hotel was busy. Aside from that, we will definitely be coming back!

This is an ok establishment if you have a car. Otherwise the closest restaurant, store, etc is about 2.5 miles away. Although you don’t see the tracks, from the noise perspective, the hotel appears to sit on top of the NJ transit rail with trains running early in the morning and late at night. Generally, polite but unhelpful, non-caring staff. The breakfast is nice and there is a gym on site. The hotel is many years pass its prime and not kept up to date with modern and up-to-date amenities.
