I stayed at the hotel when it was first renovated and reopened in the mid 1980s. It may have been upgraded since then but it still has the mid-80s feel. Great for tourists who want to visit Fremantle and the beach.

Our shower was not cleaned It was actually disgusting. We took photos to share. Our concern is that if the shower was not cleaned the spa bath would not have been either. There was also a noise all night - sounded like an airplane

The Esplanade is an iconic Freo building that has old style charm and modern facilities. The dining in room and restaurants is amazing quality and quantity. The staff on all levels are awesome. Very friendly and extremely helpful.
