Awful experience
There should be an option below terrible for cleanliness. Bugs on the curtain, walls, ceiling, tub. And when we checked out, the two couples in front of us was telling the clerk the same as we encountered. The clerk acted as though it was normal. Very disappointing!

The deadbolt for the door would not work. The secondary latch at the top of the door was not mounted properly, therefore it was pointless. There was a massive gap between the door and the floor. The tub had holes in it and would not drain. The toilet seat was not mounted to the toilet. There was a hole where the toilet paper holder should be. When I told the front desk about the deadbolt issue they did not seem like it was that big of an issue. The room itself seemed a little updated and seemed clean.

Location is AMAZING- easy walking distance & same side to The Island. Complaint is it was under staffed- long line to check in & out. Only had 2 towels when indicated there was 4 of us. If not expecting the best of the best & just passing through on way home from the coast, like us, price & location is right.

We checked in and the desk clerk was angry about another customer. Gave us a room and when we got to the room it was in disarray. No beds. Had to go back for another room. Hair in the refrigerator and it didn’t work. Toilet seat was round on an oval toilet. I understand the property is older but no excuse for cleanliness or service.

The door didnt lock and did not have saftey lock at the top, we stayed 3 nights maids never cleaned our room or gave us new towels. At then end of our stay i cleaned everything to make there job easier so they only had to change bed sheets and take out trash. Then they charged us an additional $40, and "couldnt tell us why"

Rooms have not been taken care of. Had stayed there couple or so years before and was nice place. And hardly ever had towels! Had to go to the desk everyday to try and get some. Sometimes twice. Staff was rude also.

Regarding our 3-night stay at the Americana Inn in Pigeon Forge on October 17-19, 2024. I am very dissatisfied with the Americana Inn in Pigeon Forge. I have the following reasons: First, we found cockroaches in our room (three to be exact). After the third one was found, my wife refused to stay there any longer and we checked out a day earlier than planned – although after the checkout time of the inn. As a result, the inn insisted that we must pay the full three-night charge. We find this unacceptable considering the infestation. Second, we were deceived by the morning cashier. She agreed to get us an uber car for our trip to Knoxville and indicated that the charge was going on HER account and that we needed to reimburse her $50 cash for the trip – which we did since we had no other choice. Now I find an additional charge of $50 from the Americana Inn on my credit card. I am very dissatisfied with the Americana Inn in Pigeon Forge and with Expedia’s inclusion of this inn. Not only did I have to pay for a room that was infested with cockroaches, but I was deliberately deceived by the receptions at the inn. I would like to be refunded for the third night’s charges of $111 (average/night) and the $50 charge that had already been paid in cash to the morning receptionist .
