This spectacular one-of-a-kind home was recently remodeled in 2016 into an awe-inspiring 6 Bedroom, 8 Bathroom luxury home over 3 levels, sitting directly oceanfront on a cliff perched 100 feet above the pacific Ocean.
Each bedroom features its own full bathroom, high end beds/linens, and spectacular décor and finishes with AC and ceiling fan.
The sprawling grounds are complete with amazing garden areas, including a private landscaped walkway down to the ocean.
The property boasts several different private decks on all levels including a private yoga/massage deck that sits perched above the waves directly in front of the ocean. The beautiful infinity edge pool will leave you more than refreshed as you take in the truly breathtaking 180 degree views above the waves, beaches, coves and estuaries of gorgeous Playa Flamingo!

The kitchen has been designed for the discerning food lover, with Professional stainless equipment, refrigerator, oven, dishwasher, gas cooktop stove and wine cooler.

The outdoor kitchen area boasts a large gas grill where you can prepare your days “catch”. Amazing stay!
The house and property are even more beautiful than the pictures!! We spent many hours in the gorgeous pool and private beach. The sunsets from the house were breathtaking. Close to many wonderful restaurants and beaches which we used a golf cart to get to with ease. Host and staff were very responsive and made our stay extra special. Host arranged everything for us including a wonderful day on a boat. I celebrated a milestone birthday and they went out of their way to make it extra special. We hope to visit again!!!

Wonderful Family Vacation
When we came across the Casa Frisons listing, we thought it was too good to be true….over 100 reviews, all 10 out of 10. Well after our week there in January, this property deserves every 10 it received!The home, the views, the pool and the location all exceeded our expectations. With a party of 12, including a 1 year old, we had a few concerns regarding food shopping, restaurants and excursions. Bilitis answered all of our questions and it didn't take long to realize everything was just as Bilitis said it would be. I'd say golf carts are the way to go. We rented 2 and except for a trip to Tamarindo, no car was needed. We had a photographer and chef come in one night and it turned out fantastic. Our son got engaged that night, so it was a very special evening!Our excursions included horseback riding, fishing, a catamaran trip and massages and yoga at the house. The cleaning staff and Benjamin were awesome!You will not be disappointed if you choose to stay here!Pura Vida!

Costa Rican Gem!
Bilitis's beautiful home is a real Costa Rican Gem! Our family of four stayed the week after Thanksgiving and it was the perfect get away. The house is very well appointed, everything you might need in the kitchen (lovely dishes, glassware and silverware) reliable WiFi, linen sheets, shower essentials, Nespresso machine, black out shades, games, beautiful collection of books, plenty of pool towels, beach towels, etc. She really understands the needs of a relaxing house stay and thought of everything. The sunsets from the property were spectacular and the views make it a perfect place to hang out all day. We even watched fireworks on two separate evenings. Bilitis is an amazing host, she organized airport transfer and a rain forest visit with Johnny IG - tamarindotropicaltravel who introduced us to Allan, IG - allan_tour_guide, at Spring Paradise to see amazing wildlife including Sloth, frogs, vipers and toucans. Allan even gave us iPhone photo techniques for capturing the wildlife up close. Bilitis organized Janet the masseuse, who came to the house for an incredible massage. This house was absolutely gorgeous, just like pictured if not even better. The house staff was incredibly helpful, responsive and lovely to be around. The views, decks, pool and patios were jaw dropping and spaces were perfect for our multi generation group of 12, ages 1-65. Rooms had blackout curtains and excellent AC which was very appreciated. The house was very well appointed with anything you might need for cooking, the pool, beach, games and beyond. 11/10.

Incredible Week At Casa Frisons
It’s very difficult to write a review that heaps more praise on this property, so I will simply echo the many compliments I had read in previous reviews before we booked it. Location: Incredible. These views are spectacular. Close to everything you need, with more options out the further you go. Shopping, restaurants, beaches, etc… Home: Spectacular. It’s literally like something out of a movie (I believe this was also said before). Generous rooms, a complete chefs kitchen, and excellent AC everywhere. Staff: Could not be nicer, more attentive, or efficient. Owner: Bilitis helped us at every turn, and was available whenever we needed her. Golf Cart: We found them to be a necessity, much easier to get around than a car. All in all, this is a breathtaking, family friendly home that will give you memories to last a lifetime. By far, one of the top three VRBO’s we’ve ever stayed in, anywhere.

I'm in awe of this property, love the floor to ceiling side to side windows in the living room. The rooms and bathrooms are comfortable and spacious. Wow, wow, wow!
I cannot say enough good things about our stay at Casa Frisons - we absolutely loved it and didn't want to leave! Bilitis, the property owner/manager, was outstanding. She was helpful throughout the entire process - answering questions, giving recommendations, scheduling activities, etc. and making sure our vacation was the best it could be. The house was amazing. Beautiful and spacious with the most incredible views. We had two families (one with three kids, the other with two) and had plenty of room for everyone to spread out and have their own space but also be together and not feel crowded. The outdoor spaces were second to none - the kids spent endless hours in the pool, playing cornhole, and just running around in the grass or playing ping pong. Benjamin, the on-site groundskeeper, was very helpful and kept outside impeccably clean. The housekeeping staff also did a wonderful job - and I can't tell you how nice it was that they did our laundry (DAILY!!!). It was truly a treat and we have already booked it for next year. Pura Vida!

Perfect spot for family in Costa Rica!
This was the perfect place for our family to visit CR for the first time. Casa Frisons is laid out beautifully for a large group; plenty of private spots to relax and wonderful group areas for big together time. Benjamin takes care of everything on a daily basis and was super helpful with our questions. The housekeepers do a stellar job as well. Highly recommend!

We booked Casa Frisons for a group trip to celebrate birthdays. Overall, the stay was incredible. The house and views of the ocean are amazing. We had an issue with the A/C a couple nights in the casita, but the host and grounds crew were very communicative and resolved our issue. One major perk of booking Casa Frisons was the property manager, Bilitis. She gave us recommendations and helped us book all of our excursions and airport transportation before we even arrived. This was very helpful when booking a trip for a group. We would stay here again!

Best birthday trip!
This stay was an absolute dream. Book it, you will love it. The house is even more magnificent in person, and we all want to come back again. Bilitis, our host, took care of every detail. The house has everything you need and more, and she booked all of our activities and golf carts, making the trip so easy. The house has amazing staff who took care of us completely. Benjamin, Luis, and the cleaning crew made sure we were always comfortable and had what we needed. Bilitis was communicative from booking through departure, answering every question and helping us modify our reservations as needed. We never needed for anything. Definitely get the golf carts, it made life so easy and allowed guests to come and go as needed. We also booked the private chefs, both Flamingo Foods and Ben and Arthur, and the meals were incredible. Can’t wait to go back!

Trip of a lifetime
We spent Thanksgiving at Casa Frisons and Villa Fugata with 16 people, ranging in age from 7-70. Three generations who all agree that it was the trip of a lifetime with memories we will never forget, thanks to Bilitis. Both houses were spectacular with views you typically only dream about. Every afternoon we gathered around 3pm to start to watch the sunset, which was a highlight that we looked forward to everyday. Planning for 16 is no easy task, but Bilitis was very fast to respond with great recommendations every step of the way. She ensured we had the best chefs, activities planned, transportation, and more. She was there to greet us and give us a tour when we arrived and was also there at departure to send us on our way. Benjamin was wonderful along with the rest of the staff. We felt very safe and taken care of by all. We cannot wait to return to Casa Frison and Villa Fugata. Thank you Bilitis!

Unforgettable Birthday Celebration!
Casa Frisons and Playa Flamingo was an amazing experience, better than expected! Our group of 11 adults went to Costa Rica to celebrate my wife’s 50th birthday. Casa Frisons had the perfect arrangement where each couple had their own bedroom w/private bathroom, and we were greeted daily with smiles and kindness from each member of the staff. The host, Bilitis, is very knowledgeable about the area and prompt with suggestions and answers to our many questions. She had 3 golf carts ready for us upon arrival and booked activities like a spa day at the house, a private catamaran charter, and arranged transportation to/from the airport. Based on her recommendations, we hired Chef Fabien to prepare a wonderful birthday dinner right at the house! Our group’s favorite local spot was Hemingway’s. We made wonderful memories during those ten days and highly recommend booking Casa Frisons in Playa Flamingo!
