Plouha
This property in Plouha is ideal for a quiet get-away holiday for two people (with or without a dog). The village of Plouha is nearby and has a wonderful bakery and fish shop as well as coffee shops and other food shops.
There are several walks and attractive beaches nearby.
Our host was very welcoming. The cottage was stylishly decorated and well organised. The washing machine and wood burner were a bonus. We highly recommend this cottage and host.

Splendid September break
We were highly impressed by the quality of the property and its fit out. It is in the middle of a terrace of character properties situated in a small hamlet down hydrangea hedged lanes. It was spacious and very comfortable and relaxing with excellent out-door space and furniture. The cottage is in an ideal position, close to the coastal footpaths and the stunning remote bays that are accessible on foot. Plouha itself was an ideal town, a short drive with cafes, great market on Wednesday, and plenty of boulangeries and other shops for all your needs. The property also gives easy access to other interesting coastal and inland
areas, for example, Guingamp and the Rose Granite coast around Perros Guirec. Anne and Frank were very kind leaving welcoming gifts and calling by to say hello. We have recommended to our family, and fully expect to come back and explore Brittany again.

We were delighted with this lovely cottage and enchanted with it's location.
A very comfortable and well equipped cottage, a delightful and helpful host, and a great location. What more could you ask for? Of the 14 places we have rented in France on this 5 week trip this is our favorite!! Plouha has a lot to offer, and makes a perfect base for exploring Le Cote d'Armor and Le Cote de Granite Rose. Don't miss Ploumanac'h.

Immaculate inside & quaint outside
My husband & l thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Plouha in our beautiful stone cottage. Anne’s attention to detail with fresh flowers, sparkling water, milk & wine & white fluffy towels on our arrival certainly made for a very warm & yet professional impression. This stone cottage is immaculate so we felt very much at home here. We would certainly recommend experiencing Brittany based in this beautiful stone cottage in Plouha. Close to great walking tracks & a fabulous area to cycle.

Beautiful cottage is a stunning part of Brittany.
I was greeted by Frank and Vic the dog.
The cottage has everything you need and has been decorated to a very high standard.
Lovely touches like the welcome pack and fresh flowers in the bedroom, they even made up the fire.
It was so good I extended our stay .
The situation is superb glorious beaches all within walking distance from the door.
Lots to do and see in the area.
Anne and Frank are great hosts and we definitely will book again soon.

Fabulous cottage in beautiful area perfect for 2 and a dog!
Very impressed with the quality of the cottage including all the decoration, interior & exterior. Extremely quiet and very pretty area with stunning coastal walks within minutes of the property. Nice touches were the milk water and wine on arrival although the cottage was extremely well equipped generally. We took our dog and the enclosed garden was perfect for him & the cottage was dog friendly in every way.
Thank you Anne - we loved our stay & wished it could have been longer! Maybe next time!!!

Could not fault this gite.
We were warmly welcomed by Anne to our holiday home. We were there just for three nights, but we're still given five star treatment. The gite was extremely tastefully decorated and yet still had a cosy feel to it. The log fire was much appreciated in the evening. The bed was king size and very comfortable. We have visited this part of France many times, yet still found new places to visit every day. My wife and I try to stay somewhere different each time, but we would certainly consider returning to Anne's gite for a longer stay. Genuinely a five star holiday for us. Mike and Gill Harris.

Perfect!
This tasteful, beautiful proportioned and lovingly decorated little cottage was our home for a delightful week exploring the Cote d'amour coastal beaches and towns. We visited the art and pottery galleries in Paimpol and ate delicious sea food and Crepes at local restaurants. Our two Whippets loved running along the local beaches at Plage de Palus and the spectacular Gwin Zegal. This cottage has every item you could possibly wish for making you feel perfectly 'at home' if you choose to eat in. The hosts, Anne and Frank, are lovely people who couldn't be more accommodating and welcoming.

Fantastique!
Only one problem with this gite - it has spoiled us for every other gite! Anne and Frank have created a beautiful home-from-home that is more than just a gite and this, coupled by their warm welcome, makes this a must-stay cottage. Proximity to the beautiful coastline makes it all the more worthwhile going the extra mile, as Anne and Frank have indeed done themselves. We look forward to a future visit! Perfect holiday accommodation
The house is perfectly located, close to the coastal footpath, with lovely walks to Gwin Zegal one of our favourite beaches in the world. We watched Kestrels at close quarters towards Le Pommier and enjoyed the emptiness of Bonaparte Beach nearby.
Our first day was a little chilly so we warmed up with a log fire though the heating throughout the house is extremely good and easily controlled. Breakfast outside in the front courtyard was a delight and supper on the back decking in the setting sun.
Anne and her partner were very welcoming and friendly. The house was spotlessly clean and has been decorated simply and perfectly; the attention to detail is exemplary. We felt at home and found everything we needed to cook for ourselves, (we must buy some Sabatier knives they are extraordinarily good!)
We would love to return and explore more of the area.
Well done for creating really first class holiday accommodation in a beautiful setting.

An excellent base from which to explore the delights of the Breton coastline and countryside
The property has been tastefully furnished to an exceptionally high standard with a very well equipped kitchen whether you want to cook or not! The guests have access to music, TV (English & French) and a good selection of DVD's, if necessary, but with both front and rear gardens being completely enclosed you can have breakfast sitting out in the front garden to catch the morning sun, and then spend the rest of the day in the rear garden where there are table, chairs and loungers on the decking, as well as a BBQ. The whole impression is of a very well presented cottage with a modern but 'country' feel, good central heating backed up by a wood burner in the lounge.
But for those looking for a more active holiday, the coastal path with fantastic views of this part of the Breton coastline is only a few minutes' walk away. I found it particularly easy and practical to stay in the cottage with my dog because apart from the privacy of the gardens and the practical design of the cottage, we went out every day to find different beaches and cafés and restaurants where dogs are welcome. Staying at this cottage means you can plan for all weathers and stay at base or go out and explore at will. The small town of Plouha is less than 10 minutes' drive away and has all the services required, with a great market on Tuesdays. For dog owners there is an excellent vet in Saint Quay-Portrieux for the required visit prior to return to UK. The owner very kindly organised this for me prior to my arrival. There is a lot of information about the area in tourist leaflets in the lounge and the location of the cottage gives visitors access to some dramatic scenery along the Cote d'Armor, to the beaches where the facilities are excellent, and if necessary larger towns like St. Brieuc are not far away by car.
The cottage is also a very easy 1.5 hrs drive from Roscoff. I would highly recommend the cottage to everyone - we had a lovely holiday doing something different every day.

Delightful cottage close to coast
We enjoyed our stay and would certainly recommend it. Close to a beautiful coastline with lovely beaches, mariners and fishing ports. The owners were very helpful and only a phone call away should they be needed. A very well equipped cottage but would suggest a mirror near the socket in the bedroom for haidrying or a longer lead on the hairdryer. Also a comments book would be handy for guests to recommend places to visit and any good restaurant experiences.
