Lovely hotel! Shame about scandalous Xcover.com
We enjoyed a two night stay in this lovely hotel. However, I was angered by the fact that we initially took out the insurance policy that was advertised on the Hotels.com booking page, at the time of booking and then instantly, afterwards, we cancelled the insurance policy, as it wasn’t needed, only to find that we had still been charged by the insurance company Xcover.com, when my credit card bill arrived!! Shame on xcover.com!!

Great location
Lovely hotel for an overnight stay before getting the ferry. Polite, helpful staff, nice breakfast and comfortable room. All for a really reasonable price. We will definitely stay again.

A nice hotel. Only downside comment is the noise from the heating/air conditioning unit through the night. We had two rooms and both had the same issue of the sound of running water in the background whilst trying to get to sleep. We had the units off but as they were connected to the main system it still ran in the background. Otherwise a nice hotel with very friendly and helpful staff.

Holiday Inn Express was a perfect place to spend a night in Poole so we could meet up with friends. The hotel and our room were very clean, and the staff were friendly. Breakfast buffet was excellent. Would definitely recommend staying here.

Lovely hotel will definitely return, the staff can’t do enough for you and very attentive. We had dinner Fish and chips, not pricey and it filled the plate. Breakfast was also very nicely presented, and lots to choose from. A lovely stay

Perfect hotel if attending the Lighthouse
Very centrally located. We were going to the lighthouse theatre which was literally just around the corner. Good beds, good bathroom, heating was good, staff attentive and friendly, great breakfast.

Very nice hotel. After a long journey to get there (train delays) I just wanted to take a nice shower and relax. The shower was Awesome!! So rare to get good water pressure AND hot water. Breakfast was very good as well as the dinner menu. The staff was very friendly. I’d stay here again.
