Excellent Holiday
Due to waiting for transport my wife and I arrived in Alvor 90 minutes late, the apartment owner Helga was waiting for us and met us with a hug and a smile and showed us to the apartment which was on the 3rd floor.
The apartment had an uninterrupted sea view,it was spotlessly clean ,we literally wanted for nothing,it was all provided .The bed was very comfortable and there was no noise to interrupt the night,the shower was powerful and there was always hot water.
The location of the apartment was good as well,a 5 minute walk and you were on a beautiful beach with fine sand, Alvor itself was a 20 minute walk along the seafront on a wooden boardwalk.
Alvor itself has a lovely harbour, in the day it is quite quiet but comes alive at night,there are many beautiful restaurants to eat in,the local food is excellent and we always felt very safe even walking back to the apartment along the boardwalk when it was quite dark except for the moonlight.
Overall a wonderful holiday and we will definitely be back in the future and stay in same apartment, thank you Helga
