When we first arived we were rushed out of our car by the valet their was no cart for us to put our belongings on so we waited outside for 10mins with all of our lugage on the ground waiting for a cart. Once we did get a cart we waited another 5 mins to just get a elevator there was only a 8 person max and with the cart you can only fit up to 3 people in an elevator, 10 different times after we push the elevator button it came with an elevator withbpeople already on. The pillows were trriable, and there was mold in the shower. I have stayed at several different embassy suits and have alwasy had an enjoyable stay, this was not at all what i have come to expect from embassy sutis very disipointed.

It was a perfect location for what we were planning to do in Portland. The hotel was nice and we enjoyed our room and time visiting the area.

Its not the hotels fault that portland has descended into chaos. If you dont know about the state of portland, look it up. Otherwise this hotel is top notch. I would recommend it to anyone.

The maid came twice in six days; made the bed but left the garbage and dirty towels. Nice breakfast and happy hour but strange dark basement dining room. Mismatched decorating with grey granite and tan walls. Basically the price was right but the place needs a facelift.

The staff were very polite and accommodating. Our room was clean, spacious and comfortable. The indoor pool/spa were clean. The breakfast that was offered was decent. Our overall experience was delightful.

A few short comings as far as the quality of the room went. The cleanliness of the pool and floors in certain areas were less than desirable but overall it was a satisfactory stay. The staff were friendly and the breakfast/evening services were excellent

We really enjoyed the food at the Midtown Beer Garden which is 4 mins walk from the hotel. It is very convenient to walk around and find food as well as going to the Convention Center. The only thing I gave 4 stars is the low water pressure and temperature of the shower. It took 5 mins to get the hot water ready for the shower.

We had a disappointing stay at this hotel. The hotel is very dated and its best days are far in the past. The area around the property is terrible, with homeless and drug addicted people everywhere, and it feels very unsafe. In addition, they shut off the water during our second night of stay with no communication about this major inconvenience. There were no options for us to use the bathroom, take showers or even wash our hands. It was a horrible experience. It would be impossible to recommend this hotel to anyone.

Loved the historic building. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The property offered lots of amenities including a pool, gym, and on site convenient store. Location was perfect! Walkable to tons food and entertainment including the iconic Voodoo Donut!
