The beds were extremely comfy. If you're driving to Portland, parking fills up VERY fast and only options for public parking had several cars broke into the night we stayed.

This hotel is clean, the staff were friendly, and it’s in a great location for exploring downtown Portland. It’s also very old, and it felt like it. The room was very cold and adjusting the AC didn’t seem to do much at all. The outlets were old and worn out, causing adapters to fall out which made charging devices inconvenient. The iron leaked on my clothes when using it and I had to struggle with the hairdryer to dry off the spill. There’s no tea or coffee in the room which feels like a very basic amenity these days. I’d recommend this hotel only if in-room comfort is not a very high priority for you. The shower is good though.

Hotel was nice and clean staff was very friendly. I know they are short staffed but house cleaning every other day would have been nice if not everyday. Overall good location. Would go back.

Old school, there is service a bit like from another era. Although very old building, I would stay again. I very much appreciate the recently renovated bathroom. I appreciated the linen being changed on request at short notice.

Property does not treat well guests booked through Expedia. They gave me really tiny room not matching with description, then changed to another premium king room on same “ground ” floor, I asked for room on 1st floor or above but NO as no room available. Don’t stay in room 118, at first look is beautiful, big room but too noisy..you could feel the vibration in your pillow, could not sleep whole night. Trash is just below the room, at 5AM dump truck came.. felt like I am sitting on truck, it’s was there for good 30 minutes. Don’t stay in hotel until you confirm your room is not on ground floor. Expedia could not sustain this model, I have experienced this multiple times that hotels like to give away there no so good rooms to guests booked via 3rd party.

Lovely hotel. Second stay... Will stay here for future Portland visits. Friendly staff, nice large rooms, lots of parking options. Walking distance to Powell's Books, Whole Foods and numerous eateries. In the city so at night seems dark on the streets so just be aware. I felt comfortable walking around by myself.

This is a really nice hotel for a good price. It’s clean and in a safe neighborhood in Portland. It felt secure, and was clean. The bed was very comfortable. It’s an easy walk to the red line train for the airport too.

We love this hotel, great location with easy access to everything in downtown PDX. The staff are always friendly and happy to help, the rooms are clean and the beds are comfy. Also very pet friendly, with decent pet fees.

We stayed in room 514, and loved the space within the well designed room. The kitchen was a cleanly maintained convenience. Although robes were provided (much appreciated) we did not use them. The shower head was wonderful. Please note that there is no bathtub. Towels, meanwhile are not plushy, but are good enough. Now let's talk about the bed. There is only one bedside table ( right side ) while the left side is tightly squeezed close to the wall. So, unless one is petite, it's difficult to access the bed from the left side. The bed itself feels like a "motel-ly" cheap one. Very springy and bouncy, thus validating its relatively low cost. Overall, the was an excellent value for a close-to-excellent room. A very cozy stay, and I would not hesitate to book this room again.
