Staff are friendly, same guy checked us in and out (very sorry I can’t recall his name) but he was very nice, polite and well mannered. Rooms were clean, beds were comfortable and our stay was very pleasant. Thank you all.

Hotel was fantastic for the price, couple of issues with keys not working when first went to the room and sofa bed wasnt made up as requested. However was not an issue as the respnse from the Staff was superb, got it sorted out without fuss, front desk hats off, top service and Bar staff were great too.

Standard business hotel, but a very uncomfy bed
The hotel is fine. Nothing bad, nothing special either. Staff are good, but the hotel bar/restaurant was barely manned between 11.30am and 1pm. But the bed was horrific. So lumpy and soft I slept terribly. I was glad to go home Food in the bar is good. Breakfast was not bad.

We had arranged a late check in and were told it was 24hr check in but open arrival the reception staff was very judgemental of the time we were checking in. We had transport problems coming from download festival and arrived later than we had hoped and we were in mucky wellies which we took off as we entered as cleaning was being done which I can understand staff being frustrated but overall we just felt very unwelcome. Receptionist also avoided handing me the receipt directly and when we asked for a late check out he said he was "feeling generous" so he'd take £10 off the hotel room. They only had accessibility rooms left which didn't have a bath but overall it was a fine presentable room with what you'd need. We had issues with our key card not working in the lift and room and we were advised it was due to us arranging a late check out.

Absolutely lovely hotel, staff very helpful and friendly, room was perfectly clean and lovely. Parking available but it was full so we used one just over the road and it cost us just over a £5 with the hotel discount for overnight parking.

Hotel was pleasant and the staff friendly but the cost of meals was very expensive. Should i have taken my car it would have been difficult to park at the hotel and there was a multi car park 5 minutes walk away which i woould have found it hard to walk with my case back to the hotel

Dirty bedlnen, room not as booked. Homeless people drinking on the bench and sleeping outside. Breakfast not fully available. TV not working, no one came to fix it. Staff over stretched and stressed. I would swerve.

Pleasant property with very friendly staff who went above and beyond to be welcoming. The room itself had a very large bathroom, but the actual sleeping / working area felt a touch cramped. Fine for a short stay though, and with great views over Derby.
