This property is a stunner! If you can stay in a bungalow, even for a night, do it! A few things to note: The service at the main restaurant takes a very long time, whether they are busy or not. So don't expect to show up to eat when you're under a time crunch to get back to the airport (like we did). Our food was burned but luckily the manager did take it off our bill, so we appreciated the customer service on that. Of the 4 meals we had there, each time something from our order was wrong, either between our food or the kids. So that was frustrating. Regarding the bungalow, there were bugs in it, which wasn't a surprise considering the location. However, I woke up covered in bug bites and informed the front desk. They basically shrugged it off and said that they'll "make a note on my account for a future stay". That was laughable as I do not find myself in Tahiti on the regular. There was really no other help offered than that. Other than these two things, it was a great stay. The Sea Turtle habitat was incredible. Breathtaking location!

Review for Intercontinental Tahiti Resort (3 Stars) Our stay at the Intercontinental Tahiti Resort was fine overall, but in hindsight, we should have skipped Tahiti and headed straight to Bora Bora. We stayed for three nights, but one night would have been sufficient if you’re just looking for a brief stopover between flights. The room was average—nothing remarkable. Food options were limited, which was a bit disappointing. However, the lagoon was a highlight; it’s great if you enjoy snorkeling. In terms of pricing, the value is reasonable, but we regretted spending extra days here instead of maximizing our time in Bora Bora. If I were to do it again, I’d spend one night here at most and dedicate the rest to enjoying the beauty of Bora Bora. Would recommend only as a short transit stop.

What a stunning place! The amenities are top-notch, and the staff goes above and beyond to make you feel right at home. The breakfast buffet is an absolute treat with an amazing variety that will start your day off perfectly. You can't beat the beautiful beaches, refreshing pools, and the impressive lagoonarium that truly elevate this experience!

Just ok. Rooms are small and pretty dark. Mine had a but of a stuffy smell. Grounds are nice. Property is pretty big. I preferred the Hilton but truly I recommend getting out of Tahiti and heading to Moorea or Bora Bora. This is where you’ll get the overwater bungalows, clear turquoise waters and pristine white sand beaches

Beautifully remodeled room, with a jacuzzi bath! Ocean views with a Sandy Beach, infinity pool and swim up bar! Restaurant, Le Lotus, French cuisine was Superb and a culinary experience that we will never forget! The sounds in the distant from the polynesian dancers at the main restaurant added to the ambiance making our last night something to remember.

Intercontinental Resort was beautiful but do not book through Expedia. Book directly with Intercontinental Resort. Expedia was to book us for two nights in Papeete but they only booked us for one night. We were lucky to get a room at the Hilton in Papeete. We also requested all inclusive but Expedia failed again.
