Colby, the front desk clerk, was absolutely wonderful. He was friendly and super helpful. The hotel is close to the NC State Fairgrounds, Carter Finley stadium, and the art museum. It is an older hotel with basic amenities, but it was comfortable and clean.

It was very outdated. We had to be changed to a different room because the carpet was coming up and the carpet nails were exposed. The toilet would not flush. Upon moving to another room, it was in a little better condition, but the toilet still was very slow and the water in the sink and tub did not want to drain.

Early morning disturbance
Hotels was ok. We could have done without the loud leaf blower at 5:45 am till 6:45 am from the property next door. Our room closely borded the property line. Nice gentleman at the front desk was asked about it and he really didn’t have much to say. Not even an apology for the early morning inconvenience.

I stayed there because I was having surgery the next day at Rex's hospital. Got up at 3:30 am and there was no hot water. Had to take cold shower. Ask people at front desk about the tv they just said they couldn't help us with that. So we couldn't even watch tv.

We only stayed one night, but the staff was great at getting us checked in and telling us about breakfast the next morning. The location is literally across the street from PNC Arena. So if you’re going to an event, the location is great. If you are not, make sure there are no big events when you stay cause of traffic.
