Location good. Hotel room a bit shabby, chipped paint on walls, noisy workman outside at 4am! Old noisy heat pump, mosquitoes in the room, got bitten several times despite having repellent on, ? Coming in from the drains as windows don’t open. Mould in the bathroom. Cold tap was tricky to turn off. Staff were helpful and polite.

YEHS was conveniently located to transport and local attractions. The bedding was pristine and crisp and the bed was always made beautifully. The bathroom was clean and the shower was easy to get 'just right'. The receptionist was warm and obliging and happy to have a genuine chat which is meaningful for solo travelers. I would be happy to stay here again when visiting beloved Sydney.
