Hotel staff was nice. They were full when we arrived, but they did get us in prior to the official check-in time. This allowed us to get a nap in after our long overnight flight. There is a nice coffee house and restaurant in the hotel. I was nervous about the location because it's kind of away from all the other hotels, but this location is amazing! You are close to the harbor, which is where a lot of the good restaurants are and it was only a 10 minute walk or so to the main downtown shopping area. Whenever we needed assistance from the desk they were very helpful. The room was a tad smaller than it looked in pictures, but we were rarely in the room so it wasn't an issue.

One night stay. Check in was awesome. Arrived real early and they had a room available for us. Front desk was super helpful and nice as we had a lot of questions during our stay. Balcony room (tho not sure the purpose of the balcony as there were no chairs nor a table). Room was average size, nothing special. Shower drained real slow (alerted front desk upon check out). Property/lobby included a bar, cafe, restaurant, and spa. Spa area had 2 huge hot tubs, a sauna, and a large zen sitting area. (Spa not included with all rooms). Lockers are available free of charge to store luggage if needed. Overall a great stay. In fact, we will be staying again after our cruise!

Definitely a great hotel to stay in Reykjavik. It's very clean, modern, and convenient. The breakfast buffet was very good. From check in to check out, staff was very helpful and friendly. Spa area is very clean and organized, albeit a bit small. Location is a bit walk away from the center, around 15-minutes, so it might be harder during cold or rainy weather. There is limited free parking around but also via Parka app, easy to park for a fee, right across the hotel. Rooms are spacious with kettle and coffee / tea. Overall, it was a great experience.

Not located directly in the city center. However the spa access that we had was a bonus and the breakfast spread was extensive. Closets were too small. We had to live out of our suites as there was no drawers or shelves to unpack into and only hanging space for jackets.
