Right near the rainbow road this property has excellent access to everything you might need. The only complaint I have is that there are no laundry facilities on site, there is a laundromat nearby though so this is a minor inconvenience. The staff were friendly, the room was clean and comfortable, the breakfast was good and the location was excellent.

This was a good value in city center. Very walkable. Great area with shops and restaurants. Close to landmarks and the waterfront. Great breakfast is included.

Nice front desk staff. Central and convenient, close to attractions. Clean. 24 hour reception is a plus, given that I was stuck in the south due to flooding and arrived in Reykjavik after midnight. Excellent breakfast. I recommend it and would come back!

Our room was tiny and the housekeeping did not do a good job at cleaning. There was one small window that looked out into the hallway. So not much of a view. Compared to the prices charged the hotel did not live up to expectations

Better directions on where to park and when (or if) you can drive on street in front of hotel to unload luggage are needed. Provide free bottled water in rooms since water has sulfur odor and taste. Desk Staff were Excellent. Friendly, helpful, and patient! We would return to this hotel on return to Iceland.

Nice place to stay. Double bed and pull out sofa. Refrigerator and sink. Sulfur smell from water was only negative. Great places to walk. Directly in the main city and plenty of culture to explore. Parking was a little tricky. Parked 3 blocks away to check in, but then was directed to a paring garage closely.

Overall this was the best of the three hotels I bounced around this last time in the country. Very well priced with great amenities. Great restaurant downstairs, but a whole lot of options around the hotel itself. Staff was very friendly and answered all of our questions. Will definitely be staying with them again.

Iceland has some of the best water in the world, but the room we stayed in had some of the worst water I’ve used. It tasted like sulfur and we smelled like sulfur after showering. The restaurant below had tap water that tasted great. The staff was not super helpful. However, the breakfast was filling and yummy, and the location of the hotel is very good to see the city of Reykjavik.

Excellent location right on the main shopping street, very good breakfast, spacious and quiet room ( it was facing the back of the building ). There was the smallest TV I have ever seen on my travels - it couldn't be bigger than 13 in. diagonal. Our room was on the 4th floor in the annex and from the elevator we had to drag our luggage an additional 17 stairs on a steep curved staircase which could be a problem for some travellers. The hotel staff - both in the reception and in the restaurant ( with the exception of one lady in the reception ) is not particularly friendly for staff working in the hospitality business - certainly a big difference from our hotel staff in Copenhagen. But overall I would definitely stay in hotel Fron again.
