I’m sharing my review about this cabin and the owner with everyone before you guys start booking this place. My friends and family, we had booked this cabin for the weekend. The first thing we notice was that, the bathroom downstairs and the one in the master bedroom, was having a plumbing issue. You were able to use it to just urinate, but anything beyond that, it’ll clogged up! We didn’t think of to call the owner, thinking that if we manually unclog it, it’ll be fine. After our stay, we did read some previous review and people were mentioning about the same plumbing issue we were having. We were there for 4 days and 3 nights, only being able to use 2 bathrooms out of 4, for 21 people in the house. The place does not sleep 21 people! The fridge did not work well, it was not able to keep its Temperature up. The second issue we had was, there were no toilet tree supplies that were available for our use at the cabin. Within our stay, we did have some accident. For example there were 2 chairs that were broken and we understood, that’ll be our responsibilty to pay for at the end of our stay. My warning for everyone before booking this property is that, please make sure to take before and after picture of everything in the house! After our stay, we were charged, a ridiculous amount for damages. The damages that was charge against us was, plumbing, additional cleaning fee, 2 broken chair, and supposedly a broke kayak paddle, that we know, it wasn’t broken, since it was only a one time use! Just a reminder too, we were already charge for a cleaning fee during our stay. We had put everything back and clean the place to the best of our ability before our departure. We did paid her for the amount she had requested from us within 24hrs after our stay. About 2 days later, she has sent me another request, for another ridiculous amount, [a broken toilet tank cover (which she claim she cannot purchase a cover that fits so have to replace the entire toilet), Broken outlet cover and another broken lawn chair.] My respond to her was to send me proof and give me a call directly. She was unable to reach both of my needs and sent me a message 2 days later just telling me to please pay as I am responsible for the damages. At this point, it’s clear to me that she is trying to scam me. I just want to warn everyone who come across this property, before they have to go through what my friends, family and I have to go through after our stay here.
