I asked if it was possible to get a late checkout since I didn’t arrive until midnight and I was very tired. I was offered an upgraded room for a fee. It was a little more than I wanted to pay, but turned out to be very worthwhile as the room was spacious and comfortable, and I got a 2pm checkout instead of the regular 11am.

After a long flight we caught the free shuttle to the hotel (30 minutes) . The hotel was a bit dated and the room was sparse with a view of a parking lot. The service was kind and helpful and breakfast started early. There was a 7-11 in the lobby to help with jet lag hunger. A good one night stay before venturing into Tokyo
