Excellent location. Over an hour delay for check in as room not cleaned. Seemed the same problem each day! The Manager was lovely and got us a drink for our inconvenience. Location was excellent and the pool area very nice

Bright, clean hotel close to town center
Spacious lobby and greetings of front desk impressed us at the beginning, followed by informative recommendations for our dinner in town with detailed map. Although swimming pool (which was one of the important reasons to choose this hotel) was closed for repair, I got good impression to such friendly and helpful staffs and clean and spacious room.

Decent 3-star hotel but not 4-star as it claims
I spent one night on this hotel on August 14. This is a nice hotel but it cannot qualify as a 4-star hotel, according to internationl standards. I would rather say it is a decent 3-star hotel... The room is tiny. Breakfast is fine; and the service is correct. The hotel is located in a nice area, walking distance to where the Saturday market takes place, which is a real must!!

I don't know how this hotel rates as 4 stars. It is a 2 star hotel. We paid a low price, so it was ok, but as a couple we wanted a four star experience. We couldn't wait to leave the hotel.

Great Location
We stayed here about 10 years ago and rated this Hotel highly but were a little disappointed this time. The room only had a shower [no bath] and a window straight onto the main road at ground level. The weather was very good but the pool cover was on the whole of our stay with just 1 portion of the cover open. The adjoining garden was a bit overgrown and not very inviting.The staff were very helpful though !

The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The location is fantastic. Since we were traveling as a family, I wish we could have had more people in one room, but that's what keeps the four star rating. I wish we could have stayed longer ...

The stay was very good. However there was some confusion with my booking and I wish the hotel would have contacted me directly when they realized this instead of just canceling my reservation without telling me. Thankfully they still had the same room available, but I would have appreciated a heads up. They had my phone number and email address when I made the booking so there was no reason for them not to contact me other than laziness. And on top of them, when I arrived and told me my reservation was canceled, they didn't even apologize for the inconvenience, instead made it seem like it was my fault! Other than the initial struggle, the hotel was really great; very comfortable and really very friendly. Breakfast was overpriced.

Modern hotel just outside the town
Stayed here before, five or six years ago, and chose it again because it has parking outside or garage parking for 13eu a night. No restaurant, but that is not a problem as so many good place to eat in the town. Staff very friendly and always there to help. Would recommend to anyone as standard is absolutely excellent.

Good service but not quite what I was expecting...
The hotel was well located and within easy walking distance to old town Sarlat. The parking was easy and free on the street for both days of our stay. The staff was very helpful and quite knowledgeable. However, the room we were given was down a dark main floor corridor and although large and spacious, felt like a cave. The free Wi-Fi was difficult to access and it was incredibly slow and/or didn't work at all. The access to the computer was convenient and much appreciated but it was also quite slow and didn't work well for us due to a bad or nonexistent connection. A large selection breakfast was offered each morning for hotel guest at 14 euro each.

Staff were friendly, room comfortable, swimming pool and jacuzzi lovely, and just a short walk to the centre of Sarlat. A friendly chap on reception lent us umbrellas too. We didn't have breakfast- went to the patisserie instead.

Sarlat is a charming city, but I think must who go there are touring the Dordogne. It was not too far to walk to city center, but it was not right out the door.The hotel was comfortable. The room was adequate in size. We would stay there again, but did not find its amenities justified a four star ratinig.

Very pleasant!
It is far from the train station but I walked it with my luggage and would do it again. The staff were very accommodating and arranged a rental car for me (picking me up at the hotel). I loved the pool (I was the ony one swimming) and the breakfast was wonderful Would definitely stay here again!

Good but bland hotel
The hotel is in a good location: Walking distance from the gorgeous medieval town center in a street with free parking. This is a clean and well maintained hotel. According to French standards, the room and bathroom were fairly large. The shower only had a curtain, which was fairly low key. Decor and style was quite bland. The continental breakfast was OK but not impressive. We didn't have the opportunity to test the pool. Overall, this is a good hotel for a one-night stay as we did, but it might be quite boring for an extended stay.
