The property is dated and worn. Well suited for business travel with close proximity to Seattle’s legal district. The lack of nearby public transport and location atop a steep hill make the hotel less attractive for tourists. In-house dining is limited, as are staff. Check-in was unwelcoming.

The place was very clean & staff was fairly friendly. My only real complaint (& I already explained this to the manager) was when we checkedin the front desk staff didn't explain that a clear plastic square that looked like a coaster by the TV had to be scanned by my smart phone in order to get any information about restaurants, TV channels, or how to reach the front desk. I had to look their number up online & call them that way to reach the front desk. All was okay after I did that & the manager said they are working on better communication.

Beautiful hotel very close to the highway. Not much going on in the immediate vicinity but walking distance from everything. Bar and gym are very good. Hotel is uphill in what seems like every direction.
