Not very disability friendly.
Was quite average. Only issues we had was that all the disability cords where zip tied so high they weren't reachable, even when stood up. The bathroom also didnt have a lot of space to get in and out of the shower, which would have made transfering from wheelchair to ahower seat almost impossible. The lastcthing is that the fire alarms when off regularly on our last morning, which caused a big sensory overload for my autistic partner.

Great refurb!
Part way through a fabulous refurbishment. The bedrooms are very smartly decorated and furnished, luxury bathrooms. I was very impressed for my first stay at this hotel in Sheffield, I stay reasonably often in the city and will be back

Customers service was really Lovley and welcoming, room was dirty the bathroom smelt like it had been cleaned with a dirty mop head, we had to keep the door closed because of the smell, the floor had grit on it so couldn’t walk round without having footwear on, there was no shower and bath stuff to wash with had to ask lady at reception for some, they gave you one towel between two of us that we had to re use in the morning wet, there was half a toilet roll left on the stand. The bed was comfy & coffee facilities was good, we had a balcony which had a Lovley view, we had someone banging all night on our wall that kept us up, and manitance from outside or inside the building that also kept us awake. The small fridge had no drinks or anything in it to use. Overall we was there a night which was enough but I wouldn’t say it was 4 star worthy

Very average. Room was clean. Hotel was quiet. Location is on an edgier part of town hence cheaper than alternatives closer in. Check in was slow. Had to justify needing more than 1 to key- 3 in the room so had to point out one would be unpractical. Shower head dripped through the night. Had to take it down. Breakfast was a disaster. Long queues and very disgruntled guests. No replenishment of hot buffet. Excuse was kitchen staff and staff in general was short. N.waited an hour for fresh hot food to come out and couldn’t confident ly eat it as it looked under cooked. Very poor breakfast in general considering a very big hotel. Very ripped off there. Only 2 poor young girls in from nt of house. 🏡 plus was the pool and sauna area was a bonus. Probably wouldn’t go back again and lots of other choices of hotels in the area

Staff were very friendly but the hotel is very rundown and not very accommodating. Breakfast opened at 8am not the best given they are hy Ponds forge and most swimmers need to be in warm by 7.30. Will not use again

The hotel has changed a lot weve been staying at this hotel for years the new refurbish room wash lovely very nice especially the shower luxurious staff in barr and restaurant work hard and couldn't do enough for us

On the whole good. Room with three people staying but only two mugs/glasses provided. Tea/coffee/biscuits not replaced when room serviced. Shower dripped, bath plug not working properly. Selection of available on tap beers in bar was poor. Guinness and Worthington both not on.

Warm and welcoming staff at reception. Dining staff very friendly. Excellent choice for breakfast. My only criticism was the mattress and we changed rooms as decided to stay longer and they were both the same. They seemed to sag and we ended up rolling in the middle and I have suffered from lower back pain ever since. The hotel is in the middle of an upgrade so hopefully invest in new mattresses!

Great hotel well situated
Great hotel. Friendly staff ideall situated for a night out in Sheffield. Close to railway station and city centre but also has a big car park. Rooms are recently renovated and very stylish and comfortable.
