If you want to spend a night or two in the heart of Shimoichi-cho, you may have a difficult time. In saying this, there are 4 suitable options available within a radius of 10-kilometre.

The Sakoya -Yoshino- and Chikurinin Gunpoen are your best options if you intend to stay within range of the main hotspots.

If you find yourself needing more options in Shimoichi-cho, try the Amami Onsen Nanten-en and the Fine Garden Nara Kashiba - Adults Only. Excellent hardworking staff always cleaning when there's no check-ins , food though is scarce ...for breakfast , no fruits , no jams, no orange juice , hotel is brand new and kept new .water in vending machine remained empty , there r 2 conbenis about 300 metres at jr rail STN .
