Upon check in we realised that the apartment was configured with 3 kings beds instead of 2 king and one twin room as booked on Wotif. When I went to reception I was advised that we had booked as 3 kings so I showed my wotif booking, the receptionist also claimed that a phone call had been made to confirm but I hadn’t answered. I showed her the call history on my phone which clearly showed I hadn’t received a phone call. The receptionist was great with handling the issue and offered to come and fix the bedding configuration but as she was the only one on reception I requested linen and we changed the configuration and made the beds. As an apology we were given some complimentary wine. As we set the room up on a 35 degree day it was apparent there was only aircon in the master bedroom, the other 2 rooms had pedestal fans in the wardrobes to be used. The fan in one room stopped working so I had to go back to reception to get a replacement fan. The fan in the 3rd bedroom was also broken at the back of the fan.
When it came to showering there was no hot water both in the morning and evening. For the money spent for the apartment overall we were left with a sour taste in our mouths.
