A lovely pub with staff so friendly they couldnā€™t do enough for you, lovely food served with a smile. Very clean rooms . The pub is in a very good position for the high street and canals.

Very enjoyable over night stay - one small issue with a remote that wouldn't work - but other than that very pleasant. Staff were all very helpful and friendly and room was clean, comfortable and nicely furnished.

Lovely old inn.

3rd visit staying here. Perfection from start to finish. The landlord does a wonderful job!. Check in is very easy with very friendly staff. The room is spotlessly clean & the bed is super comfortable ( I wish I could've had breakfast in bed!!šŸ˜†). Breakfast is plentiful & of a high quality. Will be back for a 4th time!

Old pub in the centre of Skipton.
Right in the centre of town, a lively spot although our room was quiet. Renovated many times over the years so stairs go up and then down before arriving at the room. The dinner and breakfast were both excellent. Our room was fairly compact but fine for a night.

First time at the woolly sheep and it was excellent. The staff couldnā€™t have been more helpful. The room was much better than expected. It was quiet through the night and breakfast was the best hotel food that I have ever had. Not many hotels cater so well for vegetarians. The poached egg was just as it should be. Well done

Great hotel right in the centre of Skipton. Lovely room, very quiet despite being at the front of the hotel. Well appointed and clean. All staff very good. We ate elsewhere but food looked good. Excellent breakfast. Parking to rear of hotel. Will definitely return.
