After a very stressful time at the airport, I arrived after a cancelled flight to an older man at the front desk who simply grunted at me. He gave me no information about the hotel, about the breakfast I’d paid for. He didn’t speak to me. It felt very unwelcoming. The following morning, the breakfast was not edible- and I am not a fussy eater. I would not stay at a Howard Johnson again.
