This property was perfect for a one-night stop heading home to the East side of the state from a Tanglewood concert. Bed was comfy, staff was kind and helpful, and breakfast was decent. Only 2 issues we had: If you're going to include black-out curtains, make it so that they can be closed all the way. Ours would not, and left a huge gap that turned quite bright in the morning. Also, the first room we were given was already being used by another customer. The staff was quick to fix, but if the system needs to be updated, I recommend it. I'd still come here again.

I did not know Spingfield was such a horrible place- was actually shocked. We stayed because we had a tournament in UMass Amherst and this was the closest place with availability. The hotel was meh- nothing terrible, nothing special. Pool could have been cleaner- it was a bit cloudy- they could just put some shock in it once in a while would probably help a lot- but when a place neglects their pool- it says a lot.

Front desk friendly upon check in. Housekeeping also helpful. Room was spacious and clean. Indoor pool was warm and has a nice deep end for the kids to swim in. The pool area needs a little attention but it didn’t bother us.

Wheres the privacy?
At 9:00 am housekeeping knocked on my door for 15 seconds and then used the key to open my door. I am not happy with that experience, as i was getting dressed (luckily I had the privacy lock on).

It was reasonably priced and convenient to the Basketball Hall of Fame. We were disappointed that the pool was rather murky and not inviting. Kids didn’t want to use it.

Great Bartender
The best part of this Hotel is the bartender Kim she was terrific. The hotel was packed the room was really old the bed was tilted towards the wall so we needed to sleep at the foot of the bed. stayed 3 nights never cleaned or towels changed. The only reason i would come back would be for Kim.
