I just checked in to this room for a night because our flight was delayed until tomorrow. Upon arrival to my room it was visibly dirty. The gentlemen got a broom and swept and apologized. The WiFi did not work and my family does not know if I am safe. The room service called back after 30 minutes and started they ran out of an ingredient of my order. THEN I WAKE UP TO A ROACH CRAWLING ALL OVER THE BED!!! I have not unpacked any of my bags and laid down with my clothes on. How is this hotel $400 a night!!?????? DO NOT STAY HERE

A very disappointing stay at this hotel. We booked a luxurious room with sea view. There was a sea view over the top of the building in front but the room certainly was not luxurious. It was a basic room . We could not get anything resembling a decent cup of coffee. It was weak and tasteless. I cannot remember ever having anything so poor before . The milk powder seemed to be old out of date stock and it was no better when it was replenished which didn’t always happen. There was quite a limited choice of food in the restaurant. It was pretty well the same food every day with little variety. Breakfasts were OK but items were often not replaced as stocks were used up. The Italian restaurant menu looked good but in practice some ingredients were not available and were replaced with less appealing alternatives. The Indian restaurant was quite good but portions were small. We arrived several minutes early for the French restaurant and were told to go away and come back later. There was a swimming pool but it was much too small and some distance away. There was a sandy beach but it was very narrow. There were several outside bars but all too often they were not open or the barman was missing. The complex is quite sprawling and often a lot of steps were involved. From our room to the main restaurant involved climbing down some 75 steps and there were inadequate signs. We will never come back and we would suggest that this place be avoided at all costs.

The property offers inexpensive options compared to its competitors. For a reason. The beach and pool are beautiful! The pool bar consistently ran out of common alcohol. The staff was for the most part friendly but it was strained. They were not happy they were told to be because their jobs depended on it. The food was fair! Nothing to rave about. I may have lost weight on this vacation. How does a restaurant run out of every dessert? Everything is done through the app. It’s not a good app! Probably not going back. If I did it would be for less than a week. No one seems to be in charge. Staff gets no direction. A rudderless ship.

Review: 4 Days, 3 Nights at Royalton Grenada I just returned from a 4-day, 3-night stay at Royalton Grenada, and while there were some definite pros, there were also a few disappointments that made the stay less than ideal. Pros: • The property is stunning and immaculately maintained. The grounds are pristine, with every inch of the resort looking well-kept and inviting. • Some of the staff members, especially the hardworking, pleasant, and friendly ones, really made a positive impact on the experience. • The room was comfortable, though there was a persistent moldy smell that didn’t go away during my stay, which was unpleasant. • The food was a major plus—there was a great selection for both local and tourist menus, and everything was freshly prepared each day. • The beach is beautiful, though the waters were a little rough at times. Save your money and your time.
Do not stay here and do not use hotels.com!! The front desk staff is absolutely horrible. My reservation was messed upd because hotels.com only listed me on the reservation, so I had to pay additional for my husband. But then the front staff said I didn’t pay for the hotel at all. Corey at the front desk was no help. Jade however was thank goodness. But it took two hours to check in. The rest of the staff was friendly. The food was mediocre. The buffet was fine, but the French restaurant was terrible. The entertainment was lackluster.

The experience was great. The only problem is the room service at night… ordering the food at 11pm is too late since they usually take a while to bring the food to the room and the cut off time to get your order “in” is just one hour.., this needs to be improve. Overall, the staff was friendly and welcoming

The property is beautiful, no denying that. I checked in and the staff at the front desk seemed unorganized and uninformed. I walked in to multiple people either complaining or trying to speak to manager so they can complain. I completed my checkin process only to be pulled off my cart and told that my payment didn’t go through. 45 minutes later, after calling my bank, my bank confirming that almost $3000 was taken from my account, the hotel insisting I charge my card ANOTHER $3000, also refusing to run a statement (which according to the bank would’ve shown my charge) to them magically finding the credit card receipt and acting like nothing happened. I demanded to speak to the manager that they refuse to let me see. Jennifer I think her name was. She also acted like what just occurred was no big deal and claimed she upgraded my room when in all actuality she gave me the exact room I was ever going to get. It was a terrible embarrassing experience that no one cared to make up for. I will never stay at any royalton again!
