Walk into the condo and be wowed by the view - your vacation home is literally on the ocean. Enjoy incredibly comfortable beds, a fully-equipped kitchen and access to three gorgeous swimming pools on the property. Along the bay you will find two incredible restaurants/bars for lobster, burgers and cocktails. Explore the beach, snorkle with the turtles are just catch some sun at the pool -paradise awaits.

This gorgeous 2bed/2bath condo is truly a slice of paradise. Brightly decorated with an updated kitchen & bathrooms, wifi and outfitted with every amenity, this is one of the nicest units on Bolongo Bay & just steps from the pool.

Luxurious King-sized master with private bath, looks right out onto the ocean - hear the ocean waves lapping at the shore. The second bedroom is a full bed with bath. For an additional fee a 5th guest or children may stay on a self inflating mattress provided in the closet.

Bolongo Bay is a serene protected cove on the south side of St Thomas, removed from the hustle and bustle of the touristy hotels and cruise ship docks. With ocean-side pools, palm trees rustling in the breeze and iguanas slowly strolling by you will relax into your vacation the moment you arrive. The bay is one of the best kept snorkeling secrets on the island with green turtles nesting just around the point and an abundance of rays, colorful reef fish and if you're lucky an eel or octopus swimming steps from your door. Since the hurricanes in 2017, the island has bounced back remarkably.

During your stay on St. Thomas - regardless of what property you choose - you will want to rent a car to maximize your ability to visit the island. Taxis are quite expensive and public transportation isn't as readily available as in other places. Enjoy the freedom and convenience of driving your own vehicle (just remember to keep left!)

In 2017 two devastating hurricanes hit the US and British Virgin Islands. Many people lost their homes, their livelihood and some even lost their lives. We were incredibly fortunate that the direction of the storm didn't destroy our island sanctuary at Watergate Villas, Bolongo Bay. That said, the beaches and some area businesses are still recovering. The ocean is back to normal, the beer is cold and your vacation shouldn't be impacted but we appreciate your understanding and kindness when you do come across those areas that still show signs of the powerful force of 2 category 5 superstorms. Although it has been a year, the local people are still working hard to bring their island back to 100% and we all appreciate your coming to help us be a part of that recovery.

The view is the best ever
So. The condo is a bit older and worn out. It straight up needs updating. BUT it is pretty clean, lots of extras like spices, coffee, filters and dish soap. Extra TP and paper towels are super nice to have. The location is fantastic if u r looking for something more relaxed and out of the way but it is only walkable to Mim's and Iggy's. Mim's is fantastic but pricey. Iggy's is more laid back. The patio doors stick something terrible but I mean we stayed out on the balcony ALOT. The living room furniture is fine but not very comfortable. The beds and linens are fantastic!! As said in other reviews the window unit air conditioners are loud but they work. If you are bougie or looking for something fancy then this unit is not for you but we were satisfied with the location and that amazing view of the ocean. You are serenaded all night by the waves crashing on the rocks and the beach. There was a few problems but the manager was receptive and helpful. We would definitely come back again.

Wonderful location on the bay. Short drive to either Charlotte Amalie or Red Hook. Easy walkable distance to the resort, where snorkeling and scuba is a must do. Loved watching the turtles feed in late afternoon off the deck.

If you’re looking for something ritzy, this is not it. Unit was very clean, beds were comfortable & everything you need is there. Could use some new pans. Remote forTV didn’t work & volume was only very low. Could definitely use new AC units. Although the AC worked very well it was very loud. The glass sliding door in the bedroom didn’t open. The owner offered us an early checking but our plane was delayed so we couldn’t check in early anyway. The kitchen had many condiments & even coffee. The many pools on the property were great. Hardly anyone at any of them. Listening to the waves crashing all night was very relaxing. We text the owner several times after we arrived with no response. Alll in all it was a nice condo

Our Wonderful Vacation
This was overall a wonderful property. The view was amazing. Waking up in the morning with a cup of tea on the balcony and the sunrise in front of you is defiantly a memorable experience. Having a kitchen and two bedrooms with two bathrooms was a plus for us. The only con for this property was how hard it is to keep up on the Maintenace on the Island. Our beautiful sliders in the Master Bedroom were never able to be opened and the other had a little trick to it for opening and closing. The track on this one defiantly needs replacing. But as I said overall, we had a great time and would probably stay here again if the situation presented itself.

If you're looking for the Ritz, this place ain't it.... it is an amazing condo in a older building. It shows its age, but we didn't come here for the room. The condo has everything you need for your stay. If you rent a car, be careful of the drivers here... nuts! We had a taxi service we used, they helped us plan out trip. His name is Oniel, his card is on the table. Take heed to the sign about feeding the iguanas unless you want 7 of them on your porch. (We named them, spike was the coolest) they are harmless and leave when you shoo them away. Super relaxing porch, water breaks on the rocks 10 feet next to you. The restaurant Mims Bistro was "ok" The resort next door is opening today as we leave, so I can't review that. Overall, incredible value and a incredible view. You won't be disappointed

We would book here again. Great price, great location and nice condo with amazing balcony view.
We stayed for 10 days and would return tomorrow if we could! The location was great right in the middle of Red Hook, all the beaches just past Red Hook, Tutu for all the lower price groceries and Charolette/French Bay. Every trip was quick and easy around 15 to 20 minutes. We didn't swim in Bolonga Bay, as most days the beach had sea grass (the resort tried to keep up and maintain, but the current just brought in a lot of it). A path was always raked from our end of the bay to the resort on the other end. Minus the seas grass. There was a stunning views from the condo balcony. It was balcony, large rocks with iguanas, then crystal clear water over a rocky sea floor. What a view. We even saw a sting ray swimming one afternoon. Bolonga Bay was very quiet, just the sound of the waves splashing on the rocks outside our balcony. Very relaxing. The condo was attached to Mim's and the food was absolutely incredible. The beach bar Iggy's at the resort had nightly music and great fish tacos. Make reservations for both. The king bed in condo was very comfortable. Kids slept on the queen bed and had no complaints. Showers had good water pressure, all kitchen items worked. The pool that was steps past Mim's (attached to our building) and was clean - nice quiet hang out after a long day. The only issue we had was the balcony door was hard to open and close. So although it may not have been as luxurious as some of the resorts, it had all the amenities and a great price to make a quick meal. We rented a car. We did our days of snorkeling and swimming on other beaches. If a beach has an entrance fee, pay it, it is worth it. We snorkeled Linquist, Secret Harbor, Coki, Sapphire on St. Thomas and Hawksnest and Trunk on St. John's. We took the island ferry to Water Island and rented a golf cart. A must do. Check out the old military fort, go to Heidis for fish tacos. The beach/water on Water Island was beautiful with a beach bar. We took our own snorkel gear and saw turtles at most beaches. The snorkeling is great everywhere. The only thing we would change would be the charter to Buck Island for turtles. For the $$ we were expecting more, but we saw more turtles on Water Island and LInquist snorkeling on our own. The catamaran was fun, but our family does better exploring on our own. This vacation spoiled us. The USVI beaches, snorkeling, hospitality and beauty will be tough to match. 10 days wasn't enough! Thanks letting us stay, it was hard to leave!

Conveniently located close to Red Hook & Charlotte Amalie. Loved that the condo was not directly over/next to the pool (very short walk) - so we didn't hear the noise associated with people enjoying the pool. Instead, we were just about directly over the water and were lulled to sleep and happily woke up to the sound of waves gently splashing against the rocks below - SO peaceful!!!!! Cute condo, had everything we needed (could have used a couple extra beach towels, but we found the washer/dryer). At one point we came home to the furniture rearranged on the deck (so someone had clearly been in the condo while we were out) and we had not been notified, which was a little concerning. Also reached out to the property owner once regarding a water pressure issue but never heard back (and the water pressure issue seemed to resolve itself in a timely manner). But overall, definitely enjoyed our stay and would stay here again.

Westgate Villa stay next to Bologno Bay
Our group of 4 adults planned this trip for our friends retirement and 65th birthday. We've stayed in another unit like this one before but flipped lay outs. Ideally it's in the perfect spot to venture out and about. Villa was very clean, stocked very well with dishes, cookware, utensils, plenty plenty of beach towels, shower towels, dish towels for an entire 7 day stay for 4 adults. Beds were super comfortable, plenty of pillows and a few extra's. Pool noodles and a water chair floaty, perfect for bring to the ocean or pool. Know bugs, spiders, roaches, an occasional iguana walking across the balcony, so be sure to keep the screen door shut at all times. We seen a few sugar ants on the counter but that's expected when we left crumbs out and drips of juice, we learned quickly to wipe everything down. Plenty of spices left from other renters. Visited the pool areas, very clean and well kept up. We will for sure book this place again. Air conditioners worked great, we hardly turned them on. Thank you for allowing us to rent ~

The balcony is right on the water front. We slept to the sound of the waves crashing against the rocks. Just a short walk down to Iggies Beach Bar. We ate there several times. It was great not having to pack a cooler or beach towels for beach days. The beds and pillows are super comfortable. Great breeze the entire stay.

The property is great. The view is wonderful. Only two minor issues. Back sliding door very difficult to close. Few channels on TV. List for channels needs to be updated. Convenient to pretty much anything you need. Bay is pretty wavy. Mims restaurant on site has delicious delicious seafood seafood bisque. We're definitely staying again.

Perfect location!
Great views, we seen iguanas every single day hanging out on the rocks just beneath the porch. The pool is such a short walk. The condo is located just minutes away from some amazing beaches, It had everything we needed to snorkel and relax! Best vacation my family has had in years! We will definitely be back!
