Was quite concerned after i had booked, i heard horror stories, that the hotel was dirty, etc. Well that was completely wrong, rooms were good clean comfortable. What more could you ask for.

Hotel was easy to find and parking on site, nice bar area downstairs. The room was on the 2nd floor and it was very warm as soon as you came out the lift you could feel it. The air con in the room did not work but we didn't complain as we were there for 1 night and not spending too much time in the room. It was very warm though and in honesty we got ready and got out as soon as we could. The bed is not particularly comfortable, very soft and feels cheap. Only one pillow per person provided and it was paper thin so not great. I personally would not stay here again.

Air conditioning didn’t work properly. Alternative provided was a small oscillating fan. Problem with door to the room locking properly. Had to try numerous times to make sure deadbolt was secure. Aside from this, the location was convenient for our time in the area.

Worst hotel stay I've had in a long time. Nobody on reception for 5 minutes, found out the gym was out of order, the only reason I booked this hotel. My room smelt disgusting and I asked to be moved which I did and it was better. However, there was an ant running around the door I didn't dare look for anything else, there was no hair dryer so I left with wet hair, the milk tasted foul so no hot drink. I checked out and wasn't asked how my stay was even though they knew I had a serious complaint. This hotel is worn down and dirty. Not sure what's happened as it used to be spot on. Avoid!

I wished I had read tie reviews before booking, this hotel is in need of a full update with damaged doors, fixtures and fittings. Due to work commitments, i was due to stay for two nights but left after the first night after reporting that the mattress spimgs was broken. I was informed that they would place me in either another room or they would change the mattress but when i returned back to the hotel this had not been done. When re-discussing this with the person on reception they told me that the mattress had been turned over, which you could tell was a lie due to marks and broken mattress protector being in the same place

We stayed here on a quiet Sunday night - this didn't last. Soon after midnight (apparently), a guest punched the fire alarm box in reception and broke it. This obviously caused a false alarm. Myself and my disabled partner were in the process of getting up and getting dressed when the alarm stoped. Then started again, Then stopped. Then started again. We went downstairs to find three members of staff, who were more interested in explaining how this was due to the actions of one of the guests, rather than their fault, as they were struggling to reset the alarm. We went back to our room, but the alarm cotinued to go off intermittently for 45 minutes (by which time it was 1am). The idiot guest wasn't the fault of the hotel - but the fact that we were then kept awake by an intermittent fire alarm until 1am, for which we received no apology, did not go down well with me. There was no breakfast buffet (not enough guests staying to make it worth it), so breakfast was cooked to order. This took longer than anticipated, of course - fortunately, we'd allowed enough time, other guests might not have been so lucky.Breakfast was actually good - which is why this is a 2-star rather than 1-star review - although there wasn't a working hot-chocolate machine in the entire hotel, it seemed (my partner doesn't drink tea or coffee). The whole place just exuded an air of being a bit run-down. And there was a moth in the bed. Would not recomend.

My stay was very disappointing, the worst hotel i have stayed in this year . Poor bedding , very thin. The room smelt that someone had been smoking in there for weeks . Single bed small . Breakfast poor , no weekabix , hot was luke warm.

Orbital Holiday Inn
The staff were friendly and helpful. Room was dated with damaged items. Shower was powerful and hot. Clean overall. There was lots of noise from doors banging shut and noise travels from.other rooms. I used this this whilst working away from home. It was good value @£63 a night. I would still.us again because in balnace there were more postives than negatives.

The hotel is poorly maintained.It's a surprise that it is part of Holiday inn. It looks and feels very old and for that price, it is not worth it.
