Outstanding location and the staff was very helpful. Hotel has a convenient parking garage and is right next to the train station so it makes a great home base for your stay in Stutgart. It’s also a great, walkable location for Vaihingen with lots of good food options close by.
A couple of things we didn’t love. We stayed in Mid-December and they heat was on FULL blast in the entire hotel for our week there. You simply could not sit comfortably in the hotel it was so hot. Same goes for your room. We stayed at the same time as two other couples and heard the same from them. Even with the heat turned all the way off/down at the thermostat in the room I was sweating all night long every night despite outside temps below freezing every night. You could improve things some if you crack your window but that means trying to sleep through the noise of the train station all night.
The room was otherwise comfortable though the beds are quite firm, likely too firm for a lot of folks. Additionally, we looked forward to taking advantage of the spa in the evenings but the hot tub was broken and closed every night we checked. For American visiting, you should be aware that the spa/pool/steam room etc. is a textile-free aka nude zone which is pretty standard for the area, but may be surprising for many.
All told, good spot and we’d likely stay again just for the location.
