CLOSED DUE TO ILL HEALTH The cedar, two-storey guest house is very comfortable and well equipped and has many artworks as decoration throughout. Bedroom 1 has a queen bed and a single bed. Bedroom 2 has a queen. The kitchen is modern with an island stove, cook top and dishwasher. The lounge is spacious with large TV and CD player. Air conditioning is provided. Internet reception is good with Telstra and Optus being available. There is also a small library and a selection of board games for your entertainment.
The property is magnificent. It's not just a farm but a sculpture park and animal sanctuary. Glen is an artist and sculptor and his works are scattered throughout the 32 acre property. Elysian Fields offers beautiful pastoral landscape with a rain forest, creek, dam and weirs. There is river frontage of the magnificent Macleay River. Enjoy swimming, fishing or canoeing on this pristine river.
There is always an abundance of wildlife and you are welcome to assist feeding wildlife, alpacas and poultry twice daily.
We are close to many National Parks, reserves and wilderness areas. Some of the best coastline in Australia is about 40-50 mins east such as Crescent Head, Hat Head and South West Rocks. Visit the historic towns of Bellbrook (up river) or Gladstone (down river) with it's cafes and specialist shops.
Kempsey is some 20 kms away for cafes, restaurants, other supplies and entertainment.
The are many walks on the property, private grottos and a good sized swimming pool. Be as active or as relaxed as you like.
Free continental breakfasts are included for the duration of your stay. Evening meals are available at the main house with your hosts Glen and Jacquie with prior notice.
