A good property close to main road through Thekkady but removed enough to be lovely and quiet. Beautiful grounds, pool was clean there was some play equipment. The restaurant served a good buffet for dinner and breakfast, with both Indian and western dishes. We chose to eat the Indian food it was served hot and was very tasty.

Friendly staff on arrival, their english isn't so great but you get by. There was a looong walk to our room, up multiple stairs and far away from the restaurant and pool, which was unfortunate. The room was spacious with a good sized balcony.

It was really a nice hotel very close to the city center, periyar wildlife sanctuary and lake..... and the staff was very helpful for the information which i needed they really helped me with that..... lot of places to visit there. So plan accordingly..... 2 nights is just not enough..... Places to visit, Parunthum para, ramakalmedu, idukki dam etc etc....

The hotel is clean and tidy, must improve the reception lobby and entrance, too depressing, small table in one corner of a big room! Does not give very happy feeling when you check in. The only positive about this hotel was the pool and breakfast. Everything else was not worth the money e.g. dirty rooms with hair on floor, dirty curtain, filthy lounge, no hot water (and no water pressure) and dismissive staff. It is definitely not worth the going rate and I wouldn't recommend staying here even if you got a discounted rate.

Great place and service
Nice hotel in a great location. The staff are really helpful and organised taxi transfer from Ernakulam train station. The morning nature walk is not really a nature walk, just down to the waterfall and back but its well worth it. The Wifi was not very good in the room but work fine near the reception.
