Not a good as it used to be.
Quality has dropped, this was my 4 th stay at this hotel and it has gone downhill. Front desk reception is good, the lady explained everything and was friendly. Room service is by request only. The rooms are clean, the coffee machine overflows as the drip tray was never emptied from previous guests. The beds need refreshing, lumpy and the mattress doesn’t fit the bed frame.

The location of this hotel is perfect, for access to subway, shopping (Eatons Centre) theatres, (CAA Mirvish and Wintergarden) music venue, Massy Hall, tons of restaurants but what would make me stay here again was the customer service, professionalism and friendliness of the staff. From the lovely lady at the front desk that sent up a maintenance man immediately to check out the temperature in our room, he tried his best but heat was not working and he went down to the front desk to find us another room. He came back within minutes with keys to a brand new upgraded gorgeous room. Later that evening while getting ready to go out, we discovered the hair dryer in our room was not working. Same lovely lady was at our door within minutes with a replacement. Our waitress at breakfast could not have been sweeter and seemed genuinely interested in assuring that everything we ordered was to our satisfaction. The genuineness of caring for a guest presented by the employees is what stood out. Good job Pantages!
