My room was covered in mold spores. Switched to another room. Overall the property is very dated. Limited bus service to the city. Easy access to the airport. Wouldn’t stay again.

Very convenient easy few minute walk to airport terminal. Had a large room, was clean with nice shower, comfortable beds. Easy check in, nice helpful staff. The property could use some updates, but it worked well for us for the convenience. I would stay here again.

Pleasantly surprised!
After reading all the bad reviews, I was pleasantly surprised. Yes, the building is older, but is still in good functioning shape. Despite some dent marks on the walls, all three elevators were working. Our room on the 11th floor was clean and roomy. No cigarette smell and the carpet was relatively new. The bathroom has marble(?) countertop and floor tiles. Looks elegant but the grouts in-between do need cleaning/resurfacing. The front desk was very helpful. Since a room was available, we were able to check-in around 11 am to drop off our luggage. With its proximity to the airport, we were able to take Volabus (24-hr Pass for 10 Euro) to and from the City Center for our sightseeing. Inexpensive and convenient. Also perfect for an early airline flight. Did not try the restaurant, so no comment. I will definitely stay at Tower Genova Airport Hotel if I were to visit Genoa again.

Great stay for early flight!
Perfect place to stay if you have an early flight. It was a very easy walk right to the airport. There are restaurants at the hotel. The desk clerks helped me order pizza to be delivered. They were very accommodating. There’s somebody at the desk 24 hours a day.

I'd stay again...don't expect a spa.
I noticed that this hotel received quite a few negative reviews due to its surroundings (food options, etc.) and lack of courtesy of the staff. In booking a hotel for the low price Tower was charging, it was all I expected. My girlfriend and I walked 10 minutes to Via Sestri, and the street was full of people, shops, eateries, etc. (and that was on a Monday evening, around 5 pm). In the morning, it was literally a 3-4 minute walk to the airport. Yes, the property is a bit dated, with little directly adjacent to it, but I would stay there any time I was in need of being close to the airport (or Trenitalia...10 minute walk).

15 min walk from train terminal. 3 min walk to airport. Beautiful view but windows very dirty. Pillows worse than mine at home which is hard to believe. Bed comfortable. Bathroom ok. Door would not lock properly and security chain broken. Restaurant meh. Waiter very unfriendly :(

Great location but rather jaded
For the location it is a good value hotel but as people have mentioned before it must have been a very prestigious hotel but now it’s showing a lot of signs of wear and tear.On the plus side,very large bedroom.

Pretty bog standard accommodation with no facilities worthy of mention. Even the bar closed early. Room was a good size and clean but the coffee machine didn’t work and the shower was very poor. Did the job when our flight was delayed though

One of our rooms smelled like smoked to the point that it was not habitable. The hotel was having an event In one of their restaurants and we were told that any other dining options were limited. The menu was very limited anyway.

This is not a good hotel. It’s very close to the airport, which is absolutely wonderful - that’s it. It is very old, unkept, and stinky from decades of smoking. Bed was terrible - creaky with rock hard clumpy mattress and what used to be a feather blanket turned into a shell with hard balls of clumping stuff. Everything is old, scratched, smudged and dirty. The hotel is fairly cheap and it shows - it is the only one walking distance to the airport so they have zero competition or incentive to do anything. I believe it was a Sheraton that Marriott dumped - most likely because it was run down. The breakfast deserves a special mentioning - this is Italy - the world capital of good food. The breakfast was terrible, the food was terrible, selection was terrible, and coffee from a machine was un-drinkable. It’s still okay to stay a night before a flight, hence two stars.
