Beautiful Manor, Terrible WiFi
Pendley Manor is set on really beautiful grounds, with a charming manor and plenty of peacocks roaming around. We really enjoyed the classic English continental breakfast, which was a great start to the day. Our room was spacious, the bed was comfy, and we slept well, though the layout of the bathroom was a bit awkward, especially the placement of the toilet. On the plus side, the hotel has a sauna and pool, which added to the relaxing experience. The staff were very niceā€”when we asked for an extra blanket, it was brought to us promptly, and the front desk was helpful. However, the WiFi was terrible, constantly dropping, which was frustrating and meant we had to rely mostly on our phone data. Overall, a nice stay but with some room for improvement.

What a LOVELY stay! Very professionally managed hotel with wonderful services, great food and super-friendly staff. After 3 days there, it was hard to leave and I don't feel that way very often about a hotel. We love historic properties and this one did not disappoint us. We'd go back again in a heartbeat!

The only reason I chose this hotel was due to the Spa. When I got there I discovered both the sauna and the steam room were out of order. No notification when booking, no notification between booking and arrival date, no notification when I arrived. In my first night I went to the health spa, got changed, showered, and walked to the sauna and the note taped to the door was the first indication. Total waste of time and money, very poor to not communicate it. Also the menu is worse than a kids menu in a basic country pub. Such a disappointment and I wouldnā€™t heave dreamt of booking here if Iā€™d have known.

Nice hotel. Convenient location. Can hear noise in room every time another room flushes toilet. Offer breakfast in room but then charged for room service, not much but should be on the flier offering you in room breakfast.
