Had an awesome stay. The staff was excellent. I couldnā€™t catch the ferry at the time I wanted to (6am) so I had to make multiple trips to the ferry terminal and office to sort my tickets out. The staff offered to take me (free of charge) and each time they waited for me. They told me I didnā€™t have to check out so early so they gave me access to the room again. When it was time to check out at noon, they told me I could stay in the lobby since the ferry didnā€™t depart until 5pm. I was so appreciative of their kindness. I will definitely stay there again

I just needed a clean safe place to stay one night so that I could connect the next day to my cruise, this was perfect! The staff was very friendly and helpful, and the port was within walking distance.

The location was very walkable, and the local flavor of the people was very energetic. The owners were friendly and helpful to my needs. They went out of their way to prepare a meal for me after their scheduled lunch time. The room was very accommodating and clean. The only problem was access to the locationā€”the stairs were not fun with heavy luggage.

Excellent hospitality. My only problem was the climbing of the stairs and this is because I have a problem with mobility. Staff are excellent hosts. Nice breakfast too.

First, the staff is very kind and friendly, and they were responsive to our concerns and the problems with the rooms we booked. The problem is that there were more problems than there should have been. The rooms are in desperate need of renovations, the toilets need fixing, the bathroom fixtures need to be put in the rooms or repaired, the hot water needs to be consistent, and the rusted fridges need replacing. Everything is third hand and broken, missing parts, rusted, or in some form of disuse. They were fixing items when we arrived, and clearly didnā€™t finish so there was an almost daily request for a fix. The sense we got was that the owners felt ā€œitā€™s good enough/it turns onā€ is the standard. Theyā€™re doing the repair work and renovations themselves rather than hiring professionals. Towel service was provided but thereā€™s a one towel set per bed in room mindset. One towel set for a room with a queen bed; two towels for a room with two twin beds? We couldnā€™t figure out the reasoning behind this (because wouldnā€™t couples be in a queen bed room and why would they want to share a bath towel and washcloth?). It got a bit tedious but we had to continually remind them that there were two people in the queen bed room (which should have been obvious every time the housekeeper removed two sets of used towels). The dining room and veranda are lovely, inviting, and comfortable. Itā€™s a walk up to the Inn (stairs and no elevator) so be prepared to lug your suitcases yourself.
