Unclean. Shower did not work. Door did not lock. Person at the front desk was not friendly when we checked in and did not say much of anything. Would not recommend the place to anyone.

The Quality Inn Minoqua, WI is a place to lay your head in a pinch. The property is dated, the rooms are dated. The carpeting was stained, the room musty smelling, the sheets were not clean (hair), the shower was stained and the wallpaper in the shower (yeah, you read that correctly, WALLPAPER) was peeling and had mold behind it. The TV did not work properly. The clerk was sitting in the "lounge" watching TV. I would not have stayed here if I had not been driving hundreds of miles on two hours sleep. I would NOT recommend the Quality Inn Minoqua, WI, unless there is nowhere else to go (maybe consider sleeping in your truck).

The pool was closed and it was black, it smelled the minute you walked in, sheets were dirty, room was just icky!!! We left and got a room down the street - it was that awlful. I am going to demand a refund!! I met 2 other couples that also did the same thing and left because of terrible condtions.

The staff were friendly, and I liked that breakfast was available. However, one of the reasons I booked with the hotel was for the swimming pool, but it was padlocked shut. I managed to see that the pool was mostly empty and needed cleaning. Pretty disappointing since my kiddo and I were looking forward to it and there wasn't any mention or sign that it was shut down for repairs or anything.

I barely write reviews but I was so disappointed and what a waste of money šŸ™ā€¦ The room had crumbs on the floor and cleanliness wise was overall not great. The shower drain was clogged and would slowly drain. The toilet barely flushed. The bed was terribleā€¦ and no way was it a queen size like anticipated. We actually left a day early bc we barely slept. There was no pool or hot tub accessibleā€¦itā€™s hard to say when the last time it was even functioning.

The owner must smoke because the hallway near the front desk smells like smoke. Very dated, but it seemed clean. The mattress was a rock. I assume there was springs in there but no give, like laying on plywood. Didn't even stay the second night.

Got taken to many room options and all had mold, dirty sheets, dirty/old bathrooms, it smelled weird everywhere. Full trash cans around the hotel. Left and did not stay there and lost all my money for two nights and had to find another hotel. This happened to at least 10 people that day that we know of and lost their money as well.

This hotel says it has a pool, which it does but itā€™s broken,no one told us until after check in, garbage stacked everywhere, sheets on beds were disgusting, window in room was cracked to the point of failing out , after seeing all conditions we left . Watched other people come in and leave instantly also

Friendly staff but needs a lot of upgrading
Front desk was friendly when we arrived. But once we got in the room we noticed the toilet was running constantly. Tried running the air conditioner, only the fan worked. Wouldnā€™t cool. Then right before bed we tried to find the remote, no remote. Reception gave us another remote but did nothing with the other issues. The entertainment center was also missing a front drawer panel. The hotel needs some upgrading for sure.
