We stayed here instead of in Venice for the price difference. The room was very comfortable. Close to the train station and airport. There is a great gelato place across the street. There was nice restaurants in the area.

The hotel was clean & quiet. Rooms are on the smaller side, but nicely decorated and cozy. The property is located right around the corner from the train station and very convenient for travelling & dining. The hotel breakfast is an extra cost, but well worth it, as there are sooo many options available.

Close to Mestre train station and bus station. Easy to get to and from Venice. Also you can walk/bus into Mestre which has a lot of history if you like that kind of thing.

Upon arrival at 10:30 right after our cruise. We were told we couldn’t check in until 2:00 pm. Not a problem we walked around a little and then sat in the lobby. Sitting there I watched tons of people check in and get their rooms.. earlier than 2:00 pm. I asked again at 1:00 they told me no rooms available. Then a bus load of people came in and they all got their rooms early, so I approached the staff again and asked. I was told it was still 2 pm check in so I questioned everyone else being able to check in and she finally gave me our room… it was after 1:00 pm by then. The overall hotel was wonderful, I was just frustrated that I wasn’t able to get in early but everyone else was.

The hotel was a perfect option in getting to the cruise terminal which we needed. It was very clean, also Extremely to the Venezia/Mestre train station. The buffet breakfast was an added great touch to ending our stay before checking out. Staff were very friendly and spoke English.

Only stayed for one night as were travelling early the next day. The receptionist who was working when we arrived at midnight was very helpful and went out his way to try and get us some food at the late hour. The room was ideal, but the bed was outstanding, an awesome nights sleep after a long day travelling. Greta amenities in the room and bathroom and the shower was large and refreshing. Great hotel and certainly a brand we will use again.

Front reception very friendly. All great. I took 2 pancakes & poured syrup onto it. One breakfast buffet employee came over & said this only for babies. There is no sign indicating that. She made me put the pancakes away. She insisted I give the pancakes to her. This was a very unpleasant experience.

The reviews and pictures are spot on. Walking to the train station & bus is not even a block away. Hotel offers breakfast at a fare price. What made me write my review was the staff. Very helpful and friendly. Also the bed & the shower was the best part of the room. Everything in the room was great, no issues. Congratulations Leonardo Royal Hotel Venice Mestre! You have my loyalty when I come back to Venice.
