Can't Wait to Stay Again!
I absolutely loved this hotel. I will admit that I first chose it because it was on a list of haunted hotels in New Orleans and I'm into that, but then I saw photos on the website and was sold. I didn't see/feel any evidence of being haunted so that may be a pro/con for you. But I was won over by the experience regardless and would stay there again in a heartbeat. It's a beautiful old-school hotel and the location absoultely cannot be beat. I scheduled a bunch of tours and activities, and the hotel was within a 10 minute walk of everything I had on my agenda.Traveling solo as a woman, I felt completely comfortable. The staff was warm and helpful. Amazing restaurants within blocks. I plan to come back and stay at the Omni in the future.

My takeaway was the friendliness of the doormen and porters. They never failed to great you with a genuine smile and comment. The property is old but very well maintained. Lots of character in its layout and decorƩ.

Roaches in bed and on furniture. Toilet overflowed and no one overused. When complained, their first response was to ask us if we were leaving instead of resolving issues. For $400 you definitely shouldnā€™t have roaches. I have photo proof.

We really loved the staff and friendliness they showed us, they were very attentive. We didn't like being in a room where the AC was not adequate with windows facing the sun....the heat made it not comfortable. Were not allowed a late check out as we were told we could have one.

This hotel is located near to a lot of places to dine in and shopping places, itā€™s very walkable to many options, the hotel has an old luxury style which is cool, therefore, our room was kind of hot, ac not working very well, our bathroomā€™s sink wasnā€™t draining, it was clogged.

Nice property right in the heart of the French Quarter, very walkable to all the notable attractions and sights. Pool on the 7th floor is a nice space, great views of the city and Mississippi River. Rooms are small but clean and comfortable. We were only here for 3 days, so it was perfect for a weekend getaway.
