3 stars - hotel needs maintenance/deep clean
Pool was filthy and had a terrible smell, like rotting garbage. 1/2 of the treadmills/ellipticals in gym did not work or had error codes. The door to our room wouldn't close properly without holding the handle from the inside and then quickly switching to the outside handle. One young woman at the front desk seemed like she wanted to help and was always working! I hope she is compensated for her time and patience. The housekeeping crew does not come daily (it's advertised) and our room did not have enough towels/linens for the guests (we made a reservation weeks ahead). The breakfast is adequate and well stocked. This hotel seems new but is poorly managed and is already in disrepair. This is the 3rd time I've stayed at this property. The guests across the hall reeked of marijuana.

Great location. In the middle of Baylor University and 0.5 miles from Magnolia Market and the Silos. Very clean and large rooms. Super friendly staff. Quick check in and out. Standard great breakfast. Nice workout room and small pool.

Baylor/Magnolia visit…YES
If you have an event at Baylor, or in town for Magnolia, this may be your spot. Outstanding customers service. Plenty of free parking. Parallels Southbound I35 (saw but did not hear traffic), comfortable sleep. Large room (we had 2 beds and pull out ) There is a small pool and decent 24 hour gym. 7-11 in same parking lot and hamburger joint literally across the street. Ice maker on our floor. Pet friendly. Microwave and coffee pot in room. A little construction for parking garage/road being built. Looks close to completion.
