Our check in was really good. Smiling faces from security to front desk to the lady who brought out the lovely hibiscus drink and ice cream as a welcome. There’s a happy hour with chocolate covered fruit and sweets in the lobby at 4pm, which was a nice touch. The room was great- a/c worked well, clean and comfortable. The walls and door must be quite thin because we heard doors slamming until 2am outside our room, which was annoying, of course. The breakfast was just ok - abundant in choices, but nothing to write home about. A special thank you though to the lovely staff who came by our table many times to take care of us. Also a thank you to Firdews for her adorable Mickey Mouse-shaped pancake for my daughter! The hotel is directly across the street from Petra so it’s a great location. One thing is skip their recommendation to go to My Mom’s Recipe restaurant a few steps away. It was a poor experience in food quality and service.

We have stayed here for 2 nights. Wonderful hotel, convineint location (few steps away from petra entrance and cave bar). Breakfast was exceptional, dining options (2) were great. Roof top restaurant had amazing views and live singer, which went perfect with the sunset. Staff was very helpful and welcoming, everyone went beyond to make it feel like a home. Would certainly recommend, this stay made our trip a lot more brighter.

Very enjoyable and relaxing stay on Mövenpick resort Petra. Only 2 mins from hotel to the Petra visit centre. Many choices for both of breakfast and dinner buffet. I want to especially thanks to the Mohammed served for dinner at Sayara. He saw I get sunburnt, he suggested and gave me some yogurt to cool down during night. I would love to come back Movenpick someday. The pastry is superb!

Well located right in front of the gates to Petra!
Loved my stay at the Movenpick. The staff were really accommodating as my flight arrived at a really awkward time in the early hours but they were great in helping me get comfortable. Also enjoyed the chocolate hour it’s a nice touch! I also thought the breakfasts were good ahead of long days hiking, with lots of variety and decent quality. Would definitely recommend/stay again.

A convient nice hotel to stay at when visiting Petra. It’s located right next to the Petra entrance. Food was nice as well.

Great stay
Great stay. Hotel is very convenient for seeing Petra - right across the road from the entrance. The staff are lovely and can't do enough to help. The restaurant is also good, with a very good buffet dinner and breakfast. Bar area is nice too. All in all a great stay.

The place is convenience and clean , everything was great accept the concierge’s didn’t know about Jordan airlines, we ask him about royal jordanian airline, he said that never heard about that airline. We have to borrowed Jordanian man’s phone to contact them to booked tickets.

Very convenient
Right across the road from the Petra entrance, so location couldn’t be better. Breakfast is fantastic but other restaurants could use some attention (no Jordanian cuisine). Room was clean but nothing particularly special. Good for a short stay.
