If you're looking for a good place to relax on the beach and lounge quietly with a book and a glass of wine, or have a quiet get-together with your sweetheart, family, or a few close friends, this Waldport vacation rental is perfect for you. Part of the rustic and lovely Cape Cod Cottages community in Waldport, you're sure to enjoy the private patio overlooking Big Stump Beach and lots of windows to let in natural light.

The home itself is comfortable, but with an open floor plan and ample light, it's easy to move about comfortably. There is a homey kitchen with a gas-range stove and a refrigerator, an open dining/living area with a TV, and a bedroom. There's even a little nook just off the side of the house with benches, surrounded by foliage for privacy, but just low enough to enjoy the ocean from the comfort of your backyard!

There is also cable and Wi-Fi available for your convenience - what a splendid place to pull up Netflix with a glass of wine while the ocean rumbles only yards away! Whatever your fancy, whoever you are with, this Oregon Coast vacation rental is a splendid place to release tension, unplug, and enjoy a slower pace of life.

This location gives you just enough distance from civilization for peace and quiet, but is close enough to town to enjoy Waldport's local attractions. The house is only two and a half miles from Waldport proper, and the road is dotted with different recreational sites for the outdoor enthusiast, or just the casual stroll along the sand. This Waldport vacation rental is a perfect getaway for couples, an intimate gathering of friends, or a wonderful meeting place to catch up with extended family. For the athletes among you, there are wonderful walking/running opportunities at the many recreational sites along the coast, and bike and kayak rentals in town; for the more relaxed meanderers, there are boutiques and cafes only a few minutes away.

Its a beautiful place! clean & comfy ...the hot tub was great to have, it couldve been a lil cleaner but wasn't really too bad just a lil wipe down & its all good.. all in all it was nice, especially with the cooler weather in that area, even in july haha A hot tub over looking the ocean, what could be better ...it was quiet and a nice relaxing place to stay..the one thing that was confusing to me was that the pics show a game room which made me think it was part of the unit, but it must be in its own room..the upstairs also was nice that there was a couch instead of just chairs like in the pictures...its definitely a great place to stay with lots of amenities for cooking & extra towels and the pull out couch was super comfy too, it made the livingroom even more comfy to chill 😎 😀 ...PS the kitchen chairs could use being replaced as one of them was a lil broken & they're not very comfortable

Fireplace broken
Giant signage outside advertising fireplaces and hot tubs. Seems like a cozy romantic getaway but my husband spent forever trying to get the fireplace going. There was no one to to contact for help. We eventually figured it was a lost cause since there were wires hanging from the unit. This is not a cheap place so having the fireplace broken isn't acceptable. There were also broken parts to the hot tub. There was no coffee and only one bowl for cereal. The bed was very comfortable but why not put a futon upstairs? Just two very awkward butterfly chairs. Overall I would say they put lipstick on a pig with the cute decor but it's not worth the money. Who has a 10 am checkout?!?! Just insane. We are owed a partial refund for our experience but you can't get ahold of anyone to talk to!

Beach property, couldn’t get much closer to the ocean or Pacific Coast Highway, very comfortable, even though close neighbors it was quiet. If staying for an extended stay and using the kitchen, could use some extra utensils and kitchen supplies- like a cutting board and bowls. Loved the location, lots to see and do.

We stayed in one of the remodeled units this time. Very nice! You can't beat the view or the beach access. Only suggestions would be to have steps for the hot tub and clean the picture window. The fireplace remote needs batteries too btw.

Fabulous view! Great little condo
We enjoyed a wonderful beach weekend with an excellent location & tidy condo. The kitchen was well-equipped. Couldn't find the linens for the sofa bed though. Room upstairs worked great for an air mattress we brought with us. The view is spectacular, and there are miles and miles of sandy beaches for walking. It was never crowded, even for a weekend in July. Would definitely recommend and be delighted to stay here again!

An OLD motel!!
The picture of the living room is where it stops. There is not even a coffee table but a very old leather footstool as a coffee table...there are no closets whatsoever. No TV just trying to figure out how to watch anything!! It is not cheap and certainly not worth whatever we paid!! An old motel that has barely been upgraded. Really no amenitities. Happy to leave!!

Cozy Cottage With A Romatic View
For the most part this is an awesome retreat for a couple or small family to vacation in. Th only reasons we didn't give it 5 stars is the paper thin walls between cottages which allows too much noise from next door occupants.

Our stay was almost excellent. Location and layout are great but we run into three issues: - one of dining room chairs was falling apart - the walls are very thin and the neighbors rather noisy at times - the bathroom towels were of very low quality

Beachfront cottage with easy access to beach. Small but very adequate for two people. Dog friendly. Adequate supplies… even doggie bags. Host management was very responsive and timely… they were excellent. Only negative is poor WiFi. We had no internet or TV service for half a day and service was generally intermittent.

One of the best oceanfront spots you will find
Clean, with spectacular views. The walk to the beach is really just a couple hundred feet if that. Down some stairs. There will be other guests around when you stay, as the units are all closely built, but it’s still relatively quiet. The cottage was actually bigger than the pictures made it seem. Great spot. Just a couple of suggestions: there is no dishwasher, so washing all the dishes by hand gets tiresome. The kitchen area is really nice, so a dishwasher would just make sense in there. Also, the upstairs room is so strange. It definitely could have a bed in it but it’s just empty except for a tv. Even if the manager doesn’t want more than 3-4 people staying here, why not ditch the pullout couch downstairs and instead have a real bed in the private room upstairs? It just seemed really weird to not utilize that room.

Great spot for a quiet getaway with the perfect ocean view.
My husband I just wanted a quick getaway where we could take the dog. Our cottage was perfect! Cute and clean with a fireplace and an amazing ocean view. We literally walked out our door, down the short walkway and stairs to the beach. Our dog loved the walks and playtime on the beach and my husband and I enjoyed the incredible sunsets from our private deck. I would suggest bringing food to cook next time, as the eat out selection was limited. Definitely on our list of places to return.

Wonderful location, service not so good ! Had a fly issue on arrival and the Staff needs help
Great location. The cabin, while old, has been updated. They need to replace the deck chairs, deck screen door and the table lamp in the living area which were all broken and teach their staff how to properly respond to guest issues. A little attention to detail would make this a terrific spot, but they also need to fix the fly issue. Thanks

Perfect Bday Weekend Getaway with dogs
We were blessed with nice weather and had a wonderful time. during our stay. Due to covid restrictions we brought our food supply and cooked our meals the whole time. Kitchen was equipped except for salt and pepper, good thing we brought our own. Love that beach is only a few steps from the cottage. And the beach was not busy and had miles of shoreline for walking the dogs. Love that cottage location is convenient between downtown Waldport and Yachats. Also very close to other attractions such as Cape Perpetua scenic area, our favorite part of central oregon coast. It would be nice if there is a place or something to hang coats maybe by the door. Also something to hang the towels in the bathroom. Cordially, The Pattons

Relaxing Beach House
Very clean and cozy. Spectacular view. Very relaxing to watch the ocean with a cup of coffee in the morning. Owner sprang for Netflix and Hulu which is amazing. I would definitely return or recommend it to others. Two notes: (1) Shower would not get hot. Had to take lukewarm showers. (2) Internet to slow to use except early in the morning when no one is awake and using it.

Great Stay
Overall the property is great! The beach access cannot be beat. Waldport is a 2 minute drive and I found Hilltop Cafe to be absolutely delightful for any meal. The walls seemed a little thin and the neighbors could be heard at night (even just flushing a toilet). There was also some road noise as it sits right off the 101. It was also a little inconvenient having the only bathroom accessible only through the main floor bedroom. Aside from that, the kitchen was well stocked. Linens were clean, floors were immaculate. The smart TV was nice to have on a stormy night! The deck views were incredible and the deck itself is spacious. I would definitely stay here again!

Internet service spotty. Smart Vizio TV needed a hard reset about every 12 hrs. Tv uses Apps and not a service. A little confusing. No curtains on a lot of windows. Design of bathroom poor. not even a place to set a toothbrush. Ikea furniture not very comfortable to sit and enjoy the view on a rainy day.
