You get what you pay for. For one full day, there was no hot water. The rooms needed much improvement especially with the air condition system. Most hotels have central ac but this hotel still uses individual units which was very noisy. The hotel had only one working elevator which was inconvenient. The sofa bed is barely sleepable and just needs an update. Bathroom didn’t have ventilation so it became a bit damp after showers. One of the usb outlets didn’t work. Now for the positives, the area is very nice and the hotel is convenient for many things. Staff was friendly. A few nice restaurants in the area and area felt safe and relatively quiet. I got a good last second cheap rate and the hotel does say it’s only a 3 star hotel, so you can’t expect the most luxurious accommodations but a renovation would be helpful for the hotel.

We were checked into a room while housekeeping was doing maintenance in the room - minor inconvenience but no mention of it during check in. Pull out couch had mouse poop on it. One elevator was not working - took 20 minutes to get an elevator to check out with bags on dolly. The topper was the breakfast - I served milk out of the carafe. It had to be weeks past due. Both my son and I felt ill for most of the day after drinking. We’re usually very easy to please and not picky but top to bottom it was a pretty bad experience. I wouldn’t recommend.

Great, short stay
Quick trip to DC. Room was clean an comfortable. Only 1 elevator was working so it was a long wait and in the morning we were competing with housekeeping. Thankfully we were only 1 floor up from the lobby and were able to go down the stairs. I asked about parking and was told in the garage but wasn’t told and there was no signage of hotel access from the garage so we ended up going up the elevator into the neighboring store. Otherwise we enjoyed our stay. Room was very quiet, never heard any of our neighbors or noise from the hallway. Great location, an easy walk to the metro station.

The hotel was nice. There's a grocery store next door to get snacks and drinks. There are plenty of restaurants in walking distance. The subway is less than a 10 minute walk. The only thing was didn't like was the bed. It was a little harder than we like. Other than that, everything was great.

I stayed 2 nights. My room was not cleaned the next day even after I asked. Then finally someone came and took out the trash and replaced towels. No cleaning was done, no bed making.

Stayed at the Hyatt convention center. Front desk staff and morning bartender super friendly. The night/evening bartender is a little rude. I ordered door dash and the restaurant didn’t send utensils or napkins, so I went to the bar to get some and the guy didn’t say a word. Seemed bothered I asked, there wasn’t anyone at the bar, so idk what his attitude was. I went with a family of 2 kids, my mom and husband. Stayed in the double beds and a sofa bed. It was comfortable. Breakfast was decent and included. Parking is $40+ a night from the sign that I saw. It’s centrally located to museums and train. About 40 mins from the airport. Couple of quiet bars that take a few minutes to walk to. Nice neighborhood. Grocery store behind the hotel. I would stay again.

The hotel is undergoing a transformation into a Hyatt hotel and I am sure all issues will be dealt with in the coming months. However, I would suggest the hotel should either be considerably discounted until the renovations are complete or they should close until the work is finished. We had lots of reasons for complaint. The Manager was extremely understanding and helpful in trying to put things right.
